Default Glyph Seals. Personal-range spells. Invocations. SLAs. Dairy.

These babies are pretty well known, but here's the important part of their text.

Spoiler: Glyph Seal, MIC p. 161
    Show
A glyph seal allows you to convert any arcane or divine spell of up to 2nd level into a symbol similar to a glyph of warding. To do so, you must cast the spell while holding the seal; doing this is called keying the seal. You can safely transport a keyed glyph seal until you activate it by pressing the seal to the desired surface.
The seal can adhere to any nonmagical, nonliving object. An activated glyph seal functions as the spell glyph function of a
glyph of warding and can be detected and disabled as a magic trap (DC 30).

First: I have read interpretations that these can allow a caster to use personal-range buffs on party members. How broken is it to allow that and what are people's reading of the RAW here?

Second: Can a Glyph seal be used with Invocations?

    Third: What about SLAs?

Lastly: Dependent upon the above; what fun applications can people think of for these?

Invocations and SLAs are not spells, so they won't work with glyph seals.

You can cast any spell into the glyph (not just harmful spells, as a glyph of warding), including personal-range spells. The description for the glyph of warding spell glyph function states: "If the spell has a target, it targets the intruder". So a personal-range spell with target: you will target the intruder instead - a spell like glibness will affect other people.

You could place seals on corpses before you raise them and use them as walking bombs.

So explosive runes, essentially? We can be more creative than this.

Sanctum spells could be useful in this regard.

Hmmm... you sure about this one? I thought I recalled some verbiage that equated at least Spells and Invocations to a sufficient degree for them to be considered spells for these sorts of purposes.
