Tsukiko, another chemical elemental, and Xykon being Xykon. What more could you ask for?

Awesome comic, good timing too. Nice to see some of the ol' elements back in play. What will the Mystic Therurge do next?

Tsukiko could still try to defeat that elemental... but I doubt it. She's a mystic theurge and everybody knows how weak they are. And she probably doesn't have dismissal scrolls like V did.

well I guess that will end any question about Redcloak turning good. I have a severe dislike for Tsukiko so i'm quite excited about what happens to her.

I find strip mean, petty of Redcloak and not particularly funny.

I have no doubt that I will enjoy the next strip more but this one isn't going on any favourite lists.

    Awww, I liked Tsukiko.

Well, she still presumably has fly and could maybe escape, but things look pretty bad for her.

I wonder how Xykon will react to this?

Well, I'll agree in that the strip wasn't as funny as it usually is. No offense to Rich, just being blunt. I figure it's hard to write a gag from this particular situation, because there's no obvious openings for said gag.

I figure that it's more of a plot strip, what with human-goblin tensions.

Well, here's some definate confirmation of Redcloak's evil alignment for those that thought he wasn't evil.

    Spoiler

This is going to come back to bite him in the ass. Either he'll run into something that required Tsukiko's assistance, or he'll run straight into the Blade Barrier on the way out of the throne/gate room after Xykon's current body gets destroyed by the ghost-martyrs.

Alternatively, Tsukiko will get lucky on her Dispel check against the Blade Barrier when Redcloak is too busy running to dismiss it himself, which will mean that he just alienated an ally.

The Chlorine elemental is a riot. Chokes you and burns out your lungs - perfect for our Evil Genius.

I can't believe wouldn't let the MT join him. She's obviously a high-level caster - why would he turn that down?

Nooo! Unnatural wizardry girl! Oh well, guess she's going the way of Grand Larceny Guy.

Loved the comic though. Redcloak just gets more and more awesome.

Also I don't get the complaints of the comic not being funny, but then again I'm the type to be amused by impending doom.

Heh! This one was funny! My favorite part is the chlorine elemental!! Kill all humans!!

I came to check because my husband had said the new comic was up. Turned out he'd said it wasn't up, and I was like, "Heh, a chlorine elemental!", and he was very confused...
