Can we summon 1d3 dysfunctions off the 8th level list instead?

I'd still like to see some variation on the Whose Line motto: Everything's made up and the rules don't matter. It's a little wordy, and technically for RAW ONLY the rules matter, so it needs some tweaking.

I personally favour "1d3 dysfunctions from the 8th-level list" and "Protection from editors"

Though, the protection rules prevent it being targeted, so we'd have to define what targeting something actually does in 3.5 first.

Wasn't there once a push for a "Book of nine Dysfunctions" title before? I think there might be some comedy in choosing something that doesn't make sense for chapter 9, just to stay to the spirit of the thread.

A point in favor of 1d3 Dysfunctions from the 8th Level List is that we're at Dysfunctional Rules IX now, so this is our last chance to do it before we run out of summon monsters to parallel.

An individual Clockwork Mender can repair objects with its Repairing Touch, as well as constructs. A swarm of Clockwork Menders seems to have lost this ability: they can only repair constructs.

How expected yet dissapointing. I have one DM that says if you can get the actual die listed in the typo you can roll it instead of what was meant. If I had money I would buy a d43.
