Cav, you are not going to break the rules by suddenly overcoming the anti-telepathy field. If you can't think of something else for him to do, just stop posting for him until it's time for the final showdown Raz worked so hard on.

Raz, when you are in your right mind, and only then, you will carefully outline your plan in exquisite detail and PM it to Cav, so that he has a crystal-clear understanding of what is planned and what is expected of him. You can both work this out, but I expect crystal-clear communication here, understood?

And don't even try arguing. We're done arguing. This is what is happening.

I'm afraid to suggest things, and I dont want Cav to leave...


So I can say, that if it help, I can make a post which describe a long battle, so there won't be a problem with timing . Or I can wait-
Im a soldier of the certain story teller who lead the story right now.

So I can wait with my replies, I can try to catch up the timing, I can even let Vodkana get defeated.



But! I think that from my exprience, here we have conflict between few views of what roleplay shoukd be.

There are story-centered players. (Like me. I think) they play to see a beatiful and intresting story which created by the group. They would sacrafice "realistic' beavior of their character for the sake of the story. They also dont care too much if their character having a bad time.


(I dont know the right english word for it-but-) ("feeling" centered players.
they play to try the feel of the character- to play an alien, is such an intresting exprience! the story frame less important then the chance to play the character as it should. I believe such players just LOVE sand box games- without "tyranny' of the story teller.


and "challenge" centered players. for them roleplay is like a very complicated chess game. they want to solve problems, to win. Some kight call them mistankly 'munchkins"- but this is the way for them to have fun! They love rule sets very much, so they could achieve more and more.


All of these are legit kind of RP players!
But when all of them meeting at the same game, you bound to have conflicts.
What do we do? Well.. talking, trying to understand and to get to the common ground.

As I see it, Raz trying to tell a specific story.
Cav see it important that it will go through certain details and rules.

edit: I think we should be more clear about what we want. Here, let me to demonstrate-
I am trying slowly but surly to run a paralel story at Earth-
why?
I want to stage the rumors and the base for my distant future idea of Trombone's return.
I also want to give spot light for few characters- Shanakhan, Luxana, Yamakami and Raijin.

Also to empower and devolp Hawk's villian.

Most of us here are bronies. I think.
so.. temperance, tolerance.

Here- Rater, you are actually a good example.
With Guit, you could just ignored ny reply- but you asked if it's ok to stop where we have stopped.

Raz didnt enjoyed the battle between Shanakhan and Guit, so I have agreed that he would be killed and adjusted my idea for their story.


I think that a lot of misunderstandings could be gone, if we will explain ourselves *before*.
"I want Oxy to devour the demon pony- so he could have a demonic form!"

"But I dont want the demon pony to be eaten. But we can let Oxy absorb some of his blood, and then he could gain few demonic qualities"

This how I belive should discussions looks like.

I think Igor basically has it right here. We need to come to a compromise - without one of the people being under stress at the moment. And if the person is under stress, we need to be better understanding of the fact that maybe they didn't realize the consequences of some of the things they said, and work with the person's intent, as opposed to their actual words. And I'm trying to establish better communication between all parties, but ... *sigh*. I guess I've failed at that.

If Cav leaves, Cav suggested Starlight could take over their role. Or Diamond could go with them. I'm more worried about Que - he and Starlight were just beginning to develop something, and I don't really wanna see it die.

Yeah, just...do that, things just aren't being ideal and its just time to start wrapping this up in some manner or other.

I don't see how that's gonna be a thing-if you leave, Aspa leaves the group, but I don't want Diamond to leave the group-I've still got sories to tell with him.
