Irabeth, and lots of other people, will look at you funny if you want to sell the statue of a marilith, but you can find a merchant who will pay 250 gold pieces for it. Attempting to sell direct unholy items of Baphomet, on the other hand, wouldn't go over well.

If you showed the papers to Irabeth, she'll hold on to them; if you ask about them, she'll say that they look like they hold information about the placement of the Templars of the Ivory Labyrinth, an order that worships Baphomet, which may be useful.

Finally, I was unclear; the housewares sell for full price as jewelry (so, 450 gold, not 225).

Oh yeah, it was Aravashnial that was intrigued about the statue. It'll get brought to him (then what? party can decide). Won't sell the unholy items. He'll peruse them one last time that night (know your enemy....) then offer them to Irabeth for destruction or whatever she chooses.

Semult has linguistics/Decipher Script (+9). He'll learn what he can from the papers then hand them over, working together with whoever is the right person(s). What do I gather from them? Assume I share that info with the group.

Housewares sale price- good, that ensures we can all afford a 750gp item at least no matter the decisions about the scimitars and wand of vigor.

Yeah, thank you for doing the hard work, David!

Alamryn could take the Foundation of Stone scroll, otherwise there is nothing she could benefit from.

EDIT: Could Aravashnial take a look at Alamryn's staff? It's either masterwork or magic, but we weren't able to find out details.

The box is sealed; you'll need to break it if you want to see what's inside it.

Aravashnial's ability to take a look at anything is currently theoretical; he needs his sight regenerated first. Irabeth has expressed confidence that he'll be able to identify items if and after that happens; where her information about Aravashnial comes from, you don't know.

    Not good rolls.

I think Trawyn can identify the wand if it is a 0 or 1st level spell, but that's about it. I don't even know if the cord is magical, and the box is starting to make me a bit nervous

Probably simplest to do it out of character; the merchants currently in the inn are not people you're likely to ever meet again after the current chapter of the game.

The wand is bless weapon, with 18 charges remaining. The cord is not magical; it looks like the box used to be fastened to it.

If there is divination on the box there is a good chance it could be used to spy on us. Considering that we know where the majority of the survivors are this is a very bad thing.

About the only thing I can think of for purchase for Trawyn would be another wand...perhaps Inspirational Boost?

Yes, you can find either one for sale.

Do you have a specific god in mind for Trawyn's song, out of curiosity? (I know it's imported from a monotheistic system, but.)

I would favour Lesser Vigor over CLW, when it comes to the wand, as it provides more reliable source of healing. It is slower, so less good for combat, but since most healing will likely be done outside combat, it seems the better choice. Alternatively, get one of each.

I had thought about that a bit before posting, and as Trawyn's background is a bit 'fuzzy' I was thinking Irori.

To be clear, are you saying that we can find either a Wand of Lesser Vigor or a Wand of Cure Light Wounds?

Ok, let's do the wand of lesser vigor. That's 799.8gp leftover for each of us.

Wand of Bless Weapon (18 charges). Want it for Trawyn? He has the best UMD.

I still have "Transmutation Wand (Wenduag)" and "Potion of (Conjuration?)"to be ID'd at some point too.

Novabomb, don't forget the extra spellbooks we have that you can draw from. It's on my char sheet under the spell section.

I changed my spells and healed up the remaining 1 Dex damage. Assuming the statue and Baphomet stuff are gone. Did I gleam anything from the papers before turning them over (from my previous post)?

    I'm going to buy
    1) Arcanist's Gloves (2/day +2CL to next 1st level spell that turn) for 500gp
    2) Scroll of Appraising Touch (25gp)
    3) Stone on a necklace with continual light (110gp). I can tuck it into my clothing when we don't want light.
    4) Scroll of Cloud of Bewilderment (150gp)

A wand of Detect Magic for 375gp is probably a good idea for us at some point.

Box- I'm ok with opening it once we get outside and a few blocks away.

Forgot about the Wand of Bless Weapon. Might as well keep it considering the price it would bring with only 18 charges left.

I'm having a devil of time coming up with something to buy. I might save the cash and try to save up for a Badge of Valor(if one can be had).

That would be exceedingly generous, but I don't even know if one is available, plus I also get a little nervous about stacking a bunch of stuff to the point of being obnoxious.

Frankly I had forgotten about the sword....maybe we should show it to Irabeth to see if she knows what it's all about, otherwise I'm perfectly fine with Jemus keeping it.

    Wow, that's great! Thanks Kish.

@razorback - Trawyn would need a loan of 280 gps, if that's okay.

Lessor Vigor isn't on the Bard list, but I agree that it's by far the most efficient healing so Alamyrn needs to carry it.

I was just reviewing spellbooks since I don't usually play wizards. Semult has two captured spellbooks (both have been deciphered through Read Magic yesterday IC). Adding spells to a spellbook takes a full day per spell. I don't know the IC pace of the campaign, will we have downtime for Tellos and Semult to work on their spellbooks?

Would Aravashnial's blindness be cured by Remove Blindness or would it need Regenerate? We don't have a cleric but Semult will be keeping his UMD maxed so a scroll is possible at some point.

I also noticed/remembered? Semult would have to UMD the CL3 Magic Missile wand since Evocation is a banned school for him.
