Technically, but he's not going to do anything, unless someone communicates information to him that will make him want to--and I don't think any of you have such information to communicate.

Wouldn't we be able to call out for a light spell? If we've noticed Lann going forward with aggression, that's the first thing I thought of is to try and see what's going on.

I did consider that, and wondered how well you can tell a blind man elf to aim. I figured he would only be able to target himself, but if you're willing to allow, I'll direct his magic.

Sure--you can't tell him based on any landmark he can't perceive, but you could tell him "we need a light thirty feet in front of us!" or something similar.

So, as you probably gathered, the dwarf was supposed to be a new PC, but apparently the player lost interest.

The plan is to secure the rope on both sides, and climb across, using the floating scale to tow the wounded.

Kish, is there any sort of a height change from our side to the other? Does the rope look angled at all?

The scale can levitate one creature or object and a total weight of up to 1900 pounds. So you can't simply levitate multiple people at once, but if you had, e.g., a surface strong enough to hold four people, they could stand on it while you levitated it.
