Lifeless Servitors are perhaps the weakest form of undead, but they are often used by necromancers as servants or spies. They are similar in appearance to zombies, but differ from them in their speed. While zombies are slow and lethargic, Lifeless Servitors are quick and nimble, moving even faster than they did in life. This makes them useful as attendants or observers to their necromancer masters. In addition, owing to their child-like stature and docile nature, a few deranged necromancers have taken to using them as surrogate children, dressing and caring for them as if they were their own.

    Inhuman Speed (Ex)
A Lifeless Servitor can move in quick bursts of superhuman speed. As a swift action, a Lifeless Servitor may move up to 10 ft. in any direction. Once it has used this ability, it must wait 5 rounds before it can use it again.

    Spider Climb (Ex)
A Lifeless Servitor can climb shear surfaces, as the spider climb spell.

    Skills
Lifeless Servitors have a +8 racial bonus on Climb checks and can always choose to take 10 on Climb checks, even if rushed or threatened.

    Creating a Lifeless Servitor
A Lifeless Servitor can be created by casting the animate dead spell on the mostly intact corpse of a Small humanoid or monstrous humanoid.

I no longer actively read the forums, and probably won't respond to any PMs. I'm fine with people using my homebrew in anything, including fan-compilations and wikis, as long as you credit me.

What other kind of undead could you have a tea party with?

1/2 1D12 HD? Does that still go on?

Shouldn't the AB of this thing be 0(0) [BAB 0, Small +1, Strength -1]?
It is a joyful thing indeed to hold intimate converse with a man after ones own heart, chatting without reserve about things of interest or the fleeting topics of the world; but such, alas, are few and far between.

Yeah, I always forget the size mods to attack.

I thought they got rid of half Hit Dice in 3.5?

Nope. For example, a lot of weaker animals and vermin, as well as tiny animated objects. Since this is supposed to be a very weak, easy-to-control, noncombatant undead, it made sense to give it fractional HD.

Right, I was thinking of the Kobold change over.
