It's nice to see that O'chul thought so much about the MitD when he set out on this journey. It's also nice that he got to see his heroic gesture. The MitD can change this entire game if he changes sides at just the right time.

Maybe now, Líen and the MitD can play a game of Go together. They are probably more each other's speed than O'chul.

Shouldn't Lien and O'Chul realize that if Xykon's here, it means it went to Girard's Gate already? He was supposed to be there first. So, something happened there.
The communication between Lien and Haley could be better. Lien and O'Chul weren't even informed that Xykon was on his way?!

Lien and O'Chul just gathered some valuable intelligence. There's a chance to fight Xykon and Redcloak at the beginning of a new day while they already had difficult encounters. They're certainly short of a few high level spell slots.

And O-Chul's possible knowledge of the MitD's identity feels like a clue. It would limit the possibilities to something O-Chul would know about, but MitD would find hard to believe/grasp. Interesting.

Looks like we're also going to catch up with the Order soon too, when Lien calls Haley.

I predict that the Order + the Dynamic Paladin Duo will end up taking advantage of the fact that Team Evil is basically drained when they exit a dungeon. Given that and MitD switching sides, they stand a pretty decent chance.

I've got a feeling that we're heading back to our heroes soon. We needed a visit with Xykon and everyone else to establish what's going on with Team Evil, though, and I've enjoyed it after spending a year watching Roy and Durkula go at it.

And not only does O-Chul suspect what the MitD is but he thinks the MitD itself would find it hard to believe what it is? And Oona thought the MitD was cute--which doesn't necessarily mean the same thing as if it came from a human, dwarf or elf.

Intriguing.

I don't think that O'chul and Lien are strong enough to take on Team Evil no matter how many spell slots they are down. Also, yeah, you would think that with Team Evil here that they would assume Girard's gate has fallen and therefore the Order isn't in the desert any more.

I think making contact with MitD would be a bad idea, just because he might slip up and Xykon or Redcloak catch on.

First off, O'Chul is awesome.

Perhaps if they did take the flyer down it would have weakened the enemy, but it would also have alerted Xykon to their presence.
Another thought: What kinds of creatures are in there that can hurt Xykon?!?
Great way to show the paladins actually *thinking* for once.
Even so, I wonder how long they'll be able to keep that up...

Also Kraagor's Gate is really well hidden, that place is huge.

When you combine the perspectives of the 2nd panel with the last one, you'll see the general direction O'Chul was looking at, and realize that there are MUCH more doors on this ravine than the 140 or so that we speculated when we first saw it. Probably somewhere along a thousand doors. It's really like searching a needle in a haystack. That is gonna take time, unless Team Evil is REALLY lucky.

Pretty sure that his power is great; he didn't mention that is was rare, only that it was a good thing.
As in "Any rebellion against Xykon makes him less likely to attack us, and that is a thing we do not want".

And my favourite Pallys are in position. Good. Even if they can only observe that is a huge Advantage.

O-Chul knows what GBiS is? Interesting. That makes three persons that (claim they) know what he is. Or it is the "a good man" thing he said back then in AC again. Then it remains at two.
(Not that it is untrue, it just doesn't answer the actual question)

The MitD was largely oblivious to all those atrocities. He didn't seem to understand them at all. He didn't think.
What made him start to change his mind? O-Chul convinced him to start thinking by himself.

hes a child, he doesnt actually understand they were doing terrible things, he wasnt really capable of feeling empathy, how does something that has never felt pain understand what pain is? plus Ochul never complained and was proud about doing his duty and felt good about getting new scars

Ochul spent alot of time trying to get the MiTD to start actually thinking about the situation he finds himself in thats what started it all
