You can download an upgrade pack that allows you to use Purple mana, so I can make the card if you give me the text and the image you want to use.

I love the flavor! However, there are a couple of issues:

The first ability is nice and helps keep him on the field, but it makes him ungodly sturdy for a support card. I think is should be "As long as Legendary Musician is untapped, it has protection from creatures." He charms people into not attacking him, but he has no way to resist spells and artifacts.

The second ability should read "As long as Legendary Musician is untapped, each of your other creatures gets +2/+2," otherwise, you could spam +2/+2 counters ad infinitum.

Finally, a bit on the expensive side. A 2/3 mass buffer with conditional protection is nice, but not 6 cost nice. I'd say reduce his cost to 4 or 5, or give him a tap ability that forces the player to decide if they want to give up his protection and buff. Something like "WW, T: You take half damage from all sources this turn." Get him to drop his guard to provide an immediate benefit.

Like I said, I love where you are going with this.

I guess I can withdraw my concern then. I'm not an MTG expert and Im a bit behind the times.

Anybody on the permapermissions thread is fair game, and I certainly won't turn down more cards based on me and my writing.

You can see my current playtest stuff in my signature. I write Path of War (like tome of battle but for Pathfinder) material and am working on a book about werewolves too.

I actually got the idea from Pristine Angel.

Hm. I figured it was a fair cost with the second ability, since I always thought Pristine Angel was underwhelming. Will do researrrrch.

It actually doesn't work at all. "As long as" indicates a static ability, which is always on as long as the condition is met. Putting counters on things is an action that's taken a single time, and doesn't work on a static ability. Also, +2/+2 counters are not a thing. Only +1/+1 and occasionally -1/-1 counters are used now.

I think +2/+2 counters used to be a thing, and then they realized it was a bad plan, so now its just 2 +1/+1 counters. Otherwise yes, the ability doesnt work as written.

There sure are a lot of people you don't usually see in the MTG threads.

Seems like it's overly complicated. Having too many separate components on a card draws the focus away from each of them, and makes it less than the sum of its parts. Also, Phyrexian mana is very dangerous developmentally, especially in large quantities.

Id make Dragons Hoard 2 cards. Drop the mana generation from Dragons Hoard and leave the rest as is, because the first bit is how to get gold counters and the other 2 are how you use them. Then id put the Mana generation for another card, Dragon's Lair perhaps?

Another Fel card (render to come later):

When Fel Bargain enters the battlefield, search your library for a card and put it into your hand, then shuffle your library.

The problem being that Legendary Musician isn't an angel (an entity of pure white mana), he is a bard. He doesn't do combat so his protection is reliant on his abilities.

Static abilities give static effects. Counters are added by active or triggered effects and remain there until removed by another active or triggered effect.

Compare Armament Master. A 2/2 creature for WW that gives +2/+2 to each of its buddies for each equipment it has on it in a set that had a crapload of equipment. Legendary Musician doesn't distinguish creature types of buddies, but his boost is situational which balances it out. He's a 2/3 where Armament Master is a 2/2, but that one point doesn't change much for the cost.

Having protection from artifacts and all colors, even if situational, is huge. Again, however, this is a Human (presumably) Rebel. What is giving him this massive protective boost? This is why I suggested making it protection from creatures instead. He can soothe the feelings of creatures around him, convincing them he's not a threat. A situational Protection from Creatures is worth 2-3 extra mana.

This gets us to the issue of "why would you ever tap this creature?" Even having one other creature out lets the other creature do the damage Musician would have done. He needs an ability that warrents losing his other abilities for. Preventing half damage from all sources is strong, but again is balanced by the fact that he loses his other abilities to use it. So that's worth an extra 1 or 2.

    Hey!
I pretty much have the same problem.

So, I opened this thread trying to post permission for myself, when I accidentally made this card for you instead:

    So now I'm posting permission.
Actually, I'm going to go post that in the permapermissions thread; I was going to do that in the other previous one anyway.

Hi Viola! What brings you--ooh, is that a card for me?
I like it. It's in my colors, and the abilities do fit me. You used hybrid mana correctly too!
I think I remember that flavor text as something I said once, a long time ago. How did you find that?
... I don't have a card for you right now. What will I do?

Oh yes, posting permission for myself as well, since I haven't been added to the permapermissions list yet.
