Song of Ice and Fire
I've never read the mentioned series, but I know that a good number of the fine people that populate the boards have. Since this came up in another thread I thought I'd let you all know.
Green Ronin, the same people that make True20 and Mutants and Masterminds, are will be publishing a Song of Ice and Fire RPG. Current release expectations are sometime in 2008. Nothing beyond that, although I expect that they'll be letting the fans know as soon as its ready to go, as well as put fun tidbits up on the site as they gear up for release. I'm expecting a super cool product, but again without having read said series my expectations may be radically different than other peoples.
At any rate here's the press release.

Re: Song of Ice and Fire
Yes indeed. Unfortunately the company, Guardians of Order, went out of business, so more books will be added to the system. It's really too bad, especially when I think about how many interesting things were in the first book alone.
Anyway, I suppose the upcoming Green Ronin version will be quite different, but I look forward to it all the same.
