Drowlbearwolf I: The Scimitar-Chuck
This is a werewolf game! Standard rules for werewolf apply. Vote for someone you want dead and if enough people also want that person dead, that person will die.
DEATH BY DEMOCRACY
Town's goal is to kill all Drowlbearwolves.
Drowlbearwolves' goal is to kill enough townies so that the number of towners is equal to the number of DBWs.
There will be secret neutral roles! You don't know how many because I don't know how many I can use until I know how many players we have!
Role time!
Spoiler: Roles: Town/DrowVillager/Drow: You can vote for someone to die in the day-phase.
Seer: You can vote for someone to die in the day-phase. You can also scry someone each night. If someone else scries that someone, your scry will come back with no results. If there is no scry interference, you get to know if the person you scried is Town/Drow, Neutral, or on the side of the Drowlbearwolves!
Fool: You can vote for someone to die in the day-phase. You can also scry someone each night. If someone else scries that someone, your scry will come back with no results. If there is no scry interference, you will receive a random result that is either Town/Drow, Neutral, or on the side of the Drowlbearwolves! Also, you think that you are the seer. You are told this. You are wrong. You are very stupid for thinking that. Feel ashamed of yourself.
Vigilante/Scimitar-Chucker: You can vote for someone to die in the day-phase. You can also KILL PEOPLE. You get some amount of uses (to be determined after I see how many people sign up) to murder someone in cold blood as your night action.
Priest of Lolth: You can vote for someone to die in the day-phase. You can also RESURRECT! Bring back one person who is dead and they will come back to life in the same role they were in before they died. You get one use in the entire game.
Sisterhood of the Meteor Swarm: A group of Lolth-nuns who were warded from the spells that brought forward the drowlbearwolves. They know each other and none are drowlbearwolves. They can vote for someone to die in the day phase and also have access to the town treasury.
Spoiler: Roles: DrowlbearwolvesPolymorphed Drowlbearwolf: You were once a drow. Now you are a drowlbearwolf. You can vote for someone to die in the day-phase. You, along with all drowlbearwolves, can also kill people during the night-phase. If you are lynched, a random townie will die.
Generic Drowlbearwolf: You can vote for someone to die in the day-phase. You, along with all drowlbearwolves, can also kill people during the night-phase. There may be multiple of this type of drowlbearwolf.
Leader of the Drowlbearwolves: You came into power by killing your predecessor, the previous leader of the drowlbearwolves. You are the alpha, and will be scried as town if the seer or fool successfully scry you. You can vote for someone to die in the day-phase. You, along with all drowlbearwolves, can also kill people during the night-phase.
Second-Fiddle of the Drowlbearwolves: You will take over the drowlbearwolves if the Alpha dies, replacing the Alpha and taking on LotD's power of deception in the event of that drowlbearwolf's death.
Necromancer: You can vote for someone to die in the day-phase. You can bring back one person as undead. They will keep the same role they had before their deaths. You will begin the game disconnected from the drowlbearwolves and your death is not part of the Drows' win-con.
Drider: You can vote for someone to die in the day-phase. You are part-drow, part spider. This gives you scrying powers. Your win-con is the same as the drowlbearwolves, but you cannot kill people in the night. You can, however, scry people. Your scry results will be true, and unless you have interference you will get back a correct result that is either Town/Drow, Neutral, or Drowlbearwolf. You are the only person who can correctly scry the Alpha, which should help because you start the game disconnected from the drowlbearwolves.
Spoiler: Roles: NeutralThere shall be two neutral roles. I promise that their goal is not to kill the other.
NOTE: ANY OF THESE ROLES MAY HAVE A SECRET WIN-CON UNIQUE TO THEM.
How to play:
During the day-phase, pick someone you want dead and post their name in red text. If there is a tie, a random person shall die based on http://www.miniwebtool.com/random-name-picker/ handy-dandy random selection tool. If there is not a tie, the person most people vote for will be executed in a horrific, terrible way. Everyone's vote only counts once. Day-phase shall last roughly 72ish hours.
During the night-phase, PMme your night action. At the end of the night-phase, I shall send you results. Night phases last roughly 24ish hours.
PMing is okay, just don't have direct quotes from anything that I send you.

In, and ready to chuck scimitars at drowlbearwolves.
Isn't the Necromancer just going to have whoever they revive killed the next day phase anyway?Avatar made by Bradakhan| Other avatars.

Re: Drowlbearwolf I: The Scimitar-Chuck
I've noticed that a lot of people express interest by saying something and bolding the word 'in' within the phrase. I guess that's a thing around here.

Re: Drowlbearwolf I: The Scimitar-Chuck
Alas, I believe I will be to busy to play, but I may have an idea for the necromancer.
Have the person that is/was raised get switched to the drowlbearwolf side and not be told that they are no longer town/drow.
It could lead to quite a bit of chaos ... something which I've heard drow are fans of.

Re: Drowlbearwolf I: The Scimitar-Chuck
I am both confused and intrigued by the necromancer. Does the undead know if they are undead? Does stuff change when you're undead? Can the necromancer bring back multiple people, make his own army, and overthrow the Drowlbearwolves?

Re: Drowlbearwolf I: The Scimitar-Chuck
Necromancer is on the DBWs side but is barely useful until very late game, when they can immediately bring the score from wolves being one behind to equality. The undead character keeps their sapience.
Necromancer CAN bring back a Townie, but he won't have to.

I would appreciate a bit more info about the setting, for roleplaying purposes. Are we just in Generic Drow City?

Re: Drowlbearwolf I: The Scimitar-Chuck
The Necromancer could also bring back a Polymorphed Drowlbearwolf. Oh, you liked losing the Priest of Lolth killing them yesterday? How'd you like to lose the Seer doing it again today?
Which brings a question to mind. It says the Polymorphed Drowlbearwolf's death will kill a random townie. Is that literal--i.e., is who dies completely unconnected to who kills the Polymorphed Drowlbearwolf?Spoiler"The really unforgivable acts are committed by calm men in beautiful green silk rooms, who deal death wholesale, by the shipload, without lust, or anger, or desire, or any redeeming emotion to excuse them but cold fear of some pretended future. But the crimes they hope to prevent in the future are imaginary. The ones they commit in the present--they are real." --Aral Vorkosigan
Yes, exactly.
