Two things about the multiclass penalties:

1: Monsters don't use EXP to level, they have a set CR, so the penalties are ephemeral to them as the exp is arbitrary.
2: No-one uses the multiclass penalty rules, it's possibly the most ignored rule in all of 3.5.

Yeah, I know. But it was my primary case for defending against dipping allegations and such in elegance - Doing them in a straight line (3-3-3-3) would have been awful.

And, for the public record, Black Unicorns cane make use of the same charisma shenanigans at four lower CR.
