Gauntlets of Weaponry Arcane
Hey, I'm back from a long absence.
So today's question involves the Gauntlets of Weaponry Arcane from the Magic Item Compendium, page 104. Would you rule that this item can be worn by a monk to make her unarmed strikes overcome silver damage reduction?

Re: Gauntlets of Weaponry Arcane
Certainly.
If not, you would also have to rule that you would not get an extra attack with a natural weapon or unarmed strike while under the effect of Haste.

Re: Gauntlets of Weaponry Arcane
Just to save others the trouble of understanding Lord Silvanos' reply, the haste spell reads:
When making a full attack action, a hasted creature may make one extra attack with any weapon he is holding. The attack is made using the creature’s full base attack bonus, plus any modifiers appropriate to the situation. (This effect is not cumulative with similar effects, such as that provided by a weapon of speed, nor does it actually grant an extra action, so you can’t use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round.)
