    Name: Callas

Physical description: An ethereal, mist white, vaguely humanoid, monk.

How he wound up in the Dreamland: Got trapped in the Astral Plane while attempting to kill himself, then got lost trying to escape to kill himself more permanently

Skills: Can phase through walls, is immune to physical damage. Can't touch any physical objects. Can influence souls to a limited extent.

Mental traits: A bit on the mournfully suicidal side, but well-educated and knowledgeable on lots of things. Incapable of accurately judging risks. Would be the first to die if he still had a body.

Sir Corgington Goodboy Esquire the First
    A perfect exemplar of honor,
the bad guys do think they're a goner.
    When Goodboy's in town,
    the lawless will frown,
and run from this hound's mighty holler.

    Physical Description:
Sir Corginington Goodboy Esquire the First is a fearsome sight indeed. His rugged exterior is only matched by his indomitable will. His limbs, perfectly crafted for speed and athleticism, allow him to get a leg up on the bad guys. His fur, a majestic combination of function and fashion, protects him from the elements and provides him the perfect garb for any occasion. With ears like radar dishes and eyes like a hawk, it's no wonder this handsome warrior was chosen to lead an elite band of cavalry.

How he ended up in Wonderland:
Sir Corgingington Goodboy Esquire the First was born in Wonderland to a loving couple, along with his seven other siblings from the same littler. A much more civilized introduction to the world than other creatures, like those vacuum folk.

    Skills:
Sir Corgington Goodboy Esquire the First is blessed with remarkable speed, much faster than other quadrupeds like horses. But his major talents are being able to smell crime on a wrong doer and incredible perception/tracking skills. Including, but not limited to: following scents through and under water, sprinting through any solid material that is no more than 1.3 inches thick, ignoring obstacles that would normally hinder a being of larger size (low hanging branches, people's legs, coffee tables, etc.), and an incredible sense of hearing up to one half mile (remarkably, he can hear the words treat, ball, and walk up to a full mile away).

    Mental Traits:
Sir Corgington Goodboy Esquire the First graduated at the top of his Geometry class, but was never very good at algebra. His literary skills are quite good and he is infatuated with Shakespear, whom he is convinced was a flamingo that would shake spears at his rival authors, Christopher Columbus and Yogi Bear.

    Name: Professor Hermes
Physical description: Hermes is a Cambridge-educated mathemetician (because what kind of awful mathemetician would go to Oxford?). Also, he is a giant tortoise. He looks, unsurprisingly, like a giant tortoise wearing the cap and gown. Except when he takes the cap and gown off, at which point he bears a startling resemblance to a giant tortoise not wearing the cap and gown.
How he ended up in the Dreamland: How many Cambridge-educated tortoises are there outside the Dreamland?
Skills: Maths. Formal and mathematical logic. Set theory. Abuse of logic. Paradoxes. Fast-talking. Winning races. Making complicated arguments with an inexplicable lack of interruption. Bite strength.
Mental traits:Hermes specialises in mathematical logic, which, as he would be the first to point out, has little or nothing to do with actual logic. Fortunately, Dreamland doesn't have much to do with actual logic either, so he's fine. He takes great delight in using the most ridiculous means possible to demonstrate beyond a shadow of a doubt that what everyone previously thought to be obvious cannot, in fact, possibly be the case. At which point, it usually suddenly turns out not to be.
Oddly, though, each argument only ever seems to work once.
He gained infamy a year ago for robbing the royal treasury. There was, of course, no possible way for the guards to catch him - before they could, they would have had to get halfway to him, and before they could get halfway to him, they would have had to...

(Outrunning people despite being incredibly slow is something he can do consistently.)

    Alan Lidel
    The Wizard

Physical appearance: Alan isn't much to look at while awake, being thin and balding with dark shadows under his eyes from worry and stress. In the dreamworld, so long as he can remember to focus on his appearance, his form is that of Adonis like perfection, going along with a mildly narcissistic personality undercut by crippling self doubt.

Personality: Alan is a broken man. Owner of a failing business, mountains of crippling debt and rising alcoholism he escapes into his dreams, learning the art of lucid dreaming. Possessing (not quite) godlike power in this realm has given him a bit of a narcissistic personality which often breaks to reveal to terrified and broken man beneath. As he spirals into self destructive habits in the material world each of his forays grows longer, longer periods of sleep brought on by any substances he can get his hands on. Each foray into the dreaming takes a toll on his sanity, blurring the line for him between which world is real and which the dream.

Skills: Very limited reality bending-- small scale transmutation, conjuration and teleportation-- the kinds of things you can do while lucid dreaming without perfect control over the dreamscape. This might manifest as turning one thing into a similar thing requiring some sort of physical similarity, such as water to wine or lead to gold, or maybe summoning an item like a weapon or pen and parchment (small things) or transporting himself to a location within limited distance (100M or so).

Drawbacks: Dreamer-- Alan, while phenomenally powerful as a lucid dreamer also has some severe weaknesses, the biggest one of which is that is is only sleeping-- disrupt his concentration enough and he will startle awake, unable to return to the dreaming for another night.

    Name: Elizabeth Reading

Physical description: A normal human woman.

How she ended up in wonderland: In our own world, Elizabeth was a librarian. One day, she discovered a corridor of bookcases which had not been there before. Foolishly, she wandered into it, and, of course, got lost.
After a lot of walking, she emerged in a strange house where everything seemed a little off. When she wanted to go back, the opening had vanished and all that remained was a row of books.
She left the house before the owner could come back and ask her questions she could not have answered. Shortly afterward, she discovered that she was in wonderland, where answers are rare and her story is as sane as any.

Skills: Her journey through the bookcases left her with strange, book related skills: Elizabeth can summon things out of fairy tales. They will work for short periods of time and then vanish.
Eliza can't summon djinns, since they are persons, not things. Even if she summons Aladdins lamp, she can't use it: she just gets an empty lamp with no connection to the djinn.
Also, she can summon books about any topic she wants, but this may go hilariously (and unhelpfully) wrong, especially when wonderland things are concerned: if she wants to know something about some mushrooms, she might get a book with helpful information, she might get a book about mushrooms from our world, or she might get a cookbook.
Those books vanish as soon as she's finished reading them.

Mental traits: Elizabeth has always liked paradoxes and riddles, which has helped her embrace the strangeness of wonderland. If she wants to confuse or distract people, she tells them things like “I'm always lying” or challenges them to a riddle contest.
But it is also easy to distract her: just tell or show her something which seems to be a riddle or a paradox. She will very likely forget everything else over it, because it is just too much fun to try and figure out how it works.

Name: Mr. Dodici, aka "The Hanged Man".

Physical description: A lanky, blond haired human with brightly colored, Renaissance-era clothes. His most distinguishing feature is his six-fingered hands.

How he ended up in the Dreamland: Dodici is a native of the dreamland, and is the child of "The Lovers".

Skills: Extremely proficient at hanging from things, either upside down or right side up. Can support his entire weight with the tip of a single finger or toe. When upside down, the objects he carries obey a rule of reversed gravity, so, for instance, tea he pours will fall upwards into his cup. Also, due to his career as a dictionary editor, Dodici knows the spelling and definition of almost every word.

Mental traits: Likes to try to solve problems with pure logic, often to the exclusion of common sense, and can be extremely stubborn in this approach. Otherwise, a cheeful, easygoing man, who, when he doesn't like the way things are looking, simply flips upside down to view them from a different angle.

Backstory: Before becoming The Hanged Man, Dodici was a simple dictionary editor, who occupied his time trying to keep up with all the new words and meanings of words that keep popping up in the Dreamland. One day, he was convicted in a court of law and sentenced to an unexpected hanging: He was told that he would be hung at noon on a certain day of the current week, but wouldn't expect this to happen on the day the hanging took place. As Dodici was a meticulously logical man, he reasoned that he wouldn't be hung on the last day of the week, Sunday, since if it came to be Saturday night, he would know that he surely would have to be hung the next day, and so it wouldn't be unexpected. But when Friday night came, Dodici would expect to be hung on Saturday since the hanging couldn't take place on Sunday, and thus it couldn't take place on Saturday, either. Working backwards, Dodici realized that he couldn't be hung on any day of the week at all. After being hung upside down from a tree by his ankle on Wednesday, he concluded that, since him getting hung was logically impossible, the entire rest of the world must have flipped upside down. Eventually, he managed to get down, but to this day staunchly asserts that he and the rest of the world are the wrong-way up.

The crime that he was sentenced for was, of course, losing a game of hangman.

The reason Dodici claimed the Duke of Clocks put "everything in the same box" is because the note refers to a singular 'box of holding' which he put all the mirrors inside: "It seems all the mirrors from the previous owner of the House have some sort of space bending properties, putting all of them together in the old box of holding may have been a mistake since inhabitants of the dreamland seem to be randomly teleported inside."

Hey guys 4 of our 6 players droped out. They won't be able to post anymore.

I'm not sure if we are going to keep the game going. Rigth now only Alandra and LoyalPaladin are still up.

So what do you guys want? Stop the game? Keep the game?

If you guys decided to stop should I open for new players and keep up or just quit the idea entirely?

Also is the game unfun? Is there something I can do to fix it? To make it better? Thanks.
