That said, he does have me wondering why. Is it just because "it's the top of a mountain, stupid!" or is there some additional danger?

I will say, comic number 191 is slightly jarring. The first 3 panels that don't have backgrounds seem off, though I can understand if you were trying to make it like a snowy background. Also, in the 3rd to last panel she is going right and down slightly, and then in the 2nd to last panel she is going left and up. I know the "Camera" likely just flipped itself to follow them going up the mountain, but like I said, it was a little jarring. Just thought I'd offer that bit of advice. Otherwise, series is good!

Yeah, “‘did we get him/her?’ is essentially a magic spell that guarantees the target’s survival and instant counterattack” can’t be a meme in just Korea here and that statement is about on the same level.

Okay, so I just went through the whole thread and I don't think anyone's said anything along these lines yet, so here goes...

Ardelie lost her tongue, so she can't talk anymore. This is an accepted fact.
Pellan lost his tongue, too... but he can still talk. This is also an accepted fact.

Honestly, wouldn't you think that the [dramatic voice]ＣＵＲＳＥ[/voice] would be the one with a more debilitating effect? And more than that, whoever/whatever designed the 𝓒𝓤𝓡𝓢𝓔 would have specifically needed to create an effect that lets its victims keep their voice.

Seems... suspicious. And strange. Makes me start to wonder whether it's really a curse at all.

This comic follows in Pellan's attempt to correct a curse, and all the people who come to help – or hinder – that effort.

Certainly, we've gotten plenty of out-of-universe indications that it is... But within the actual comic, Pellan's own judgment is the only source for that label. A single man, who's clearly missing other important information.

(For that matter, a nitpicker could point out that the stuff I just quoted only indicates that something/someone is cursed, and Pellan is going to try uncursing it. Never actually says that it's him.)
