This comic really does take the Soulsborne method of exposition, doesn’t it?

I mean hey, better than dumping it all on us in the first three panels, just saying.

I think I'm going to start needing a checklist to keep track of all the different groups of people with funky glowing eyes.

No, seriously, it's not a curse.
Spend 900 years out of the sun and you'll look a bit pale too.

And yes, I still think she'll turn out to be one of the undead.
    Those eyes look familiar.

    Tavi and Ardelie are cute.
    Boop

    Tavi's buddy though...
Hopefully they just got an issue with her helping some potentially dangerous stranger and aren't annoyed she's making nice with the food/sacrifice to the dark gods.

So the green eyes pale skin thing isn't a unique condition, huh? Interesting...

Last page basically states it’s an ethnicity thing. This is just how ‘The people of the Valley/Children of Immun’ look.

Considering they have glowing eyes I'm not sure "ethnicity" is the right word here.
Seems to indicate something supernatural going on. Looks similar to the Stormfallen's blue or Pellan's eyes.

Also, I'm pretty sure we've seen eyes like that before. When Pellan told the story about the Kal-At Empire or when he found the Queen's vault. A green eye glowing in the dark.

Hmm, it’s certainly possible. But Pellan’s eyes are blue and so is the common color for the Stormfallen, right? Could be a coincidence.

    This was what I meant:
    Green eye, pale skin.
    More green. And creepy purple.

So maybe no direct connection to the Storm, but something's going on with Tavi and her people.
Also, the old man from the fairy tale's suspect too.
Purple robe, purple souls. Might be he wanted Kal-At to end as it did. Necromancer?

    Oooh.

re-reading the previous pages, you can just make out a little black line on her forehead on some panels, behind her hair.

On page 160 it's (almost) completely visible.
Different one from Ardelie, so different crime I guess.
I wonder how justified her's was...

Already starting to dislike Tavi's buddy though.
Hopefully he's just (justifiably) paranoid and not a jerk.
