New Year's Resolutions: Gaming Edition
I thought it might be fun to hear what, if any, gaming-related New Year's Resolutions y'all might have for 2017.
Personally, as a frequent GM, I would like to resolve to play in more games in order to get a better perspective about what it's like on the other side of the screen. I also plan on asking players for more input on worldbuilding during my games, especially when it comes to NPC's and organizations."Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere."

Re: New Year's Resolutions: Gaming Edition
I resolve to remember to bring my books to games as the DM, as nobody else will, and it's annoying to use PDF files.
Me: I gather the corpses of the orcs!
DM: And give them a proper funeral?
Me: No silly, I gather then up and glue them together into a statue of me!
DM: But how- Why- You're playing an animated table! You can't gather things! You lack arms!
Other player: That's your problem with that statement?
I do a D&D Campaign Comic for Sword Art Online now, check it out here.

Re: New Year's Resolutions: Gaming Edition
Going to try to push out of my comfort zone with more outright emotional play.

I'm going to get my S*** together as a gm and run at least one session a month
The first rule of gaming, before you have even chosen the game is and always should be
HAVE FUN
(FUN being defined as it is in dwarf fortress)
