    Default Podcast that discusses GMing?

Hi Playground, I'm looking for some material that I can listen to that discusses GMing for tabletop games (I play dnd, but it doesn't have to be for that system). Is there anything that anyone has listened to and enjoyed?

Matt Colville has a lot of good and long stuff on youtube. Covers mostly basic stuff, but all good advice for beginners.

Being everything else and web dm are both pretty good. Web dm is ongoing and very DND specific. Being everything else ended quite abruptly some time ago, but was very general.

Should be able to find both on YouTube

although focused towards video game design, Extra Credits is an excellent show. short, dense videos(that work fine as audio-only) and provide plenty to think on. I recommend clicking through a few of the videos, as well as watching their excellent Design Club subchannel, especially if you are comfortable approaching Gming from a game design perspective.

even aside from the tricks, tools, and much deeper understanding of RPGs that I got from EC, the way of thinking shown in their videos is great. that said, it may or may not align with your approach to GMing, or what your are looking for. (take a peek and find out)

hope you find some good stuff.

    Thanks for all the suggestions!

For the sake of the next person who has the same needs as myself, I will also add the Writing Excuses podcast (by Brandon Sanderson) to the list.

    Fear the Boot is solid.
I would really like to see a game made by Obryn, Kurald Galain, and Knaight from these forums.

I'm not joking one bit. I would buy the hell out of that.
