I Hate This.
So I have to somehow figure out how to borrow $1000 in the next ten days so I can pay move-in expenses. Unfortunately, no one I know is capable of affording such (including my parents), and--worse--I'm even capable of paying it back in total within 2 weeks. I just can't get the money now that I'll have in two weeks.
That's frustration.Wiki - Q&A - FB - LIn - Tw

Re: I Hate This.
Just to check, have you tried banks?
At least in the UK, you can get short term loans or overdrafts that would fit the bill nicely, and would not be too difficult to get if you can prove you can pay it back.
Hope that helps.

Re: I Hate This.
I have a couple ideas for you, but I'll IM you rather than type out the largely situation dependent list.

Re: I Hate This.
The phrase in question here is "short-term bridging loan".
Speak to a representative at your local bank or building society/savings and loan, offer them full disclosure about the circumstances and your cash flow situation relating to the matter in hand. Hopefully they'll be sympathetic to an existing customer, but expect swinging charges (daily interest levied beyond the agreed loan period) going into the situation.
Best of luck mate.Last edited by bosssmiley; 2007-07-21 at 07:44 PM.
