    eek Would any dipping into shadow dancer would be worth it for a Dervish Dancer?

    edit: This is pathfinder, should've put it in the right subforum

    I'm considering a build for a dervish dancer bard.

    I'm thinking strength based, longspear wielding, maybe a bit trippy.

    It seems like thematically a few levels of shadow dancer would be cool, but I can't get over 1) Losing progression towards higher level dervish abilities and especially 2) losing spellcasting progression.

    Even the shadow jumping would probably be better served by just taking regular dimension door as a bard spell.

    I don't think I have a question really, I'm just confirming what I already know.

    It feels like a combo that could have been cool.
