Well, they repeatedly call Greg "Master", just as Durkula called Malack "Master" from #879-906, and Gontor is behaving childishly as Durkon did during his thralldom. What made "Durkon" a thrall to Malack during that period and while Gontor et al. are not thralls to "Durkon" during this period? I believe the feeling at that time was that as a thrall to Malack, "Durkon" wasn't an independent spirit yet, and so his appearances didn't start until #907, but this strip makes me question that assumption based on Gontor's allusion to his own internal dialog just like "Durkon" and Durkon.

Malack said releasing Durkon would have been confusing. It seems in retrospect he was wrong. However, whether Gontor is now a thrall or not, this may give us an idea of the confusion he meant.

There are three priests of Thor at the after-party, two of whom who appear to be the same as the priests in #1086: the one on Kandro's left, and the one over his right shoulder. I don't see a match for the one in the rear with his back to us. Thoughts?

We've only ever seen him in these two strips (1086 and 1088). I don't think there's been any confirmation in the forum from the Giant, but one person did bring up that Durkon mentions having a living grandpappy in OTOOPC, and based on his seating at the ordination, I think it is a pretty safe assumption.

I don't think so. Colour and beard style seems different.

If it comes down to a vote, I think neither object deserves to be tracked, anymore than we track Roy's sword, even though she's a very special lady and, really, the seventh member of the team.

Granted, but we still don't have a name for Roy's sword. Honestly, since this is about characters, unless we find out any of these items are actually sentient, I don't believe they should be tracked, as that qualifies them as objects, not characters. However, just checking, do we track Tarquin's axe? Because that's a sentient weapon. I'm pretty sure we did, but I'm not sure of the name so I didn't know what to look for.

Lutey, the Lute-tastical Lute (62 +4)

It was interesting how little he used the lute until Girard's Pyramid. Then he used it a whole bunch, then not much again until it was depicted on his back after the art style change, where basically any appearance with Elan was also an appearance for Lutey.
