What kind of AC and or DR would
Hyperdense flesh and bone grant ? Lets say you have a fellow who is 5'7" inches tall and appears to weigh 150lbs. His skin to the casual touch does feel like normal skin .(no bony plates , scales etc )
However our fellow weighs in at 320 lbs ?
what would his base ac without dex be ?
what would if any his dr be ?

Re: What kind of AC and or DR would
Would it really do anything, aside from necessitate a higher strength value to compensate for the extra weight? So he's twice as heavy, and probably no good at swimming... But he's still soft.

You could give him the Powerful Build ability, where he counts as a size category bigger. Check out the goliath. Very good LA +1 race, as long as you plan on going barbarian.

Re: What kind of AC and or DR would
Hm... you'd probably need to have +Str and +Con, but -Dex. For AC and DR, +1 natural armor would make up for the loss in dex-AC, and maybe DR 1/- would be fitting since he'd be harder to hurt.

Re: What kind of AC and or DR would
I could've sworn someone posted before me, mentioning +5 to natural armor... That's what I was disagreeing with. Though, the closest comparison would probably be an elephant.... (Seeing as how their hide's so tough.)
