I have a question: If my character is in the Dancing Fox Inn, and the destination my character is trying to get to is the Black Dragon's Den, would I have to move him through Outside and Inside, or just say he enters the Black Dragon's Den?

To elaborate a bit, you definitely don't need to post for your character travelling. You might consider that the character did in fact have to travel, and that might influence something in the following scene, but there's no reason to show it unless you want something to happen during the trip.

He'd probably be familiar with the deeds he's done, considering he's robbed many large banks, but he might not be familiar with the name itself. It all depends on how many good contacts he has, and whether he had them about 9 years ago.

I'm super sorry to See and Cosmichobbit for being a bad RP partner. I don't know if it's too late for me to get back in the same RP situation but I promise it won't happen again.

Nexusers (Nexees? Nexusees?) who have more than one character, how much harder is it than having just one character? I'm thinking of having two characters, but I don't want to do it too early and end up flaking on one or the other.

I don't think number of characters is the challenging factor. It's more the number of simultaneous scenes that becomes harder to manage. Now, more character might mean you have more scenes going on, but it's also possible to play many scenes with one character. It's really down to how much you can handle no matter how many characters you have.

I have many characters, and I'd say it's pretty easy. I don't exactly have one 'main' character, though, so I can't 'flake' one. And I do quite a lot of one-shots. I focus on two or three (or maybe five) characters, have them active at one point, all doing stuff in different threads, and try not to have them meet.

Currently, active characters are Natalie, Makuro, Emily (sort of), and I'd guess Rivet and the Skyside Slaver's Guild. Makuro's still in her first appearance, I have some plans set in jelly for her, and the last two are more 'events' than 'characters', though some individuals featuring in them may become characters later. Emily's part of the Church of Bane, and present in the North Northside Temple part of the current Riverside Invasion.

Inactive are Cheasadh, Alfred, Baccata, Jack, Pookie, and... Uh... That's less than I thought. I need to do something with Alfred. He hasn't done much.

But if you have a character who would either like to hang around in a haunted, dark fairytale forest or investigate one, it'll be a good place.

I have a lot of characters.
10, to be exact (with plans for 2 more)
I joined more recently than you.

I made so many characters mainly because I had ideas for them. Also, many people seem to have multiple copies of the same character in different plots. I don't do that. My characters remain in one plot at a time.

Currently: (sounding off my characters)
Krur is exploring a cave in The Hunting Grounds with Celticbear's DJ.

Erasmus is not doing anything right now. He's probably in the MERC base.

Tethrik is wandering Inside looking for a library (that plot hasn't been replied to)

The Right Hand of War is loitering in a ruined village in Outside with his undead army, waiting to be either attacked or hired.

Professor Marty Barron is at his tower performing insane experiments, but otherwise doing nothing.

David Osborne just left the mall and isn't currently doing anything. He may be researching the mystery enemy who destroyed his home village (It's the RHoW, but he doesn't know that.)

Orlan Dough is running his casino in Starside but otherwise doing nothing.

Wayne Bruce is fighting raiders by Inside's front gate.

Sergei the Bear is following Ezra around to explore the Nexus, because he has nothing better to do (Ezra is judging the world's suitability for a human colony.)


I have preliminary ideas for a contract killer who's also a shapeshifting devil, and for some sort of character based on the Bionicle universe (which I was a big fan of when younger).

I actually lied about my characters. I have (at least) two I didn't count. Mama Gho the Secret Rakshasa is 'active', and Mister Slash the Bogeyman is 'inactive', though he has links to characters that could activate him at some point.
