Hey there,

I feel like I'm a bit blanke with ideas for my charakters and liked to ask you for some advice or help.

I thought about getting Arkant more into the spot light of a villianouse sientist, but I leak ideas where to go without holding up a big sign with "I'm EVIL, come beat me" on it.

My other chars, Fade, Zefir and Mia also run low. I don't know where I can start a scene with them, thought they currently got one or so running.

You could create a minor 'good guy' looking for help against Arkant. For example: Someone whose friend was kidnapped for the monster DNA experiments.
Or one of his monsters could escape, and maybe eventually be tracked back to him.
Or you could try the plan Arkant discussed with his minion on the previous page of Skyside, where he creates a crisis for the city (maybe start with Groundside) with the intent of saving the city himself. Then either it goes out of Arkant's control, or someone discovers that this is his plan and tries to stop the crisis by stopping him directly.

Mia: If I remember correctly, MDM was turned into a demon during the first VIGIL attack. Was he destroyed by the bombing, or is he still out there? She might want to rescue him (or put him down since he's turned evil?) or build /get a replacement. Also, in the Nexus there are robots as intelligent as humans, if not more so. It might be interesting to her to meet them. And she might have more to do depending on how the Riverside invasion turns out. Maybe other players would be interested in characters joining the church of Deus Mechanicus if you asked?

Fade: He fought Wenomir to a draw. Maybe he wants to learn some technique or find some weapon to let him beat Wenomir and become the Best Swordsman in the World^(TM). Or maybe he wants to learn from lots of other warriors. It's a little difficult to find direction for an emotionless aimless person.

Zefir: Take Moff's suggestion of trying to steal VIGIL's island (if other players are up for it) Even if it's doomed to fail, it could be fun to try.

I have just posted in Riverside despite not everyone not posting.

I am not skipping anyone here. I am just changing my posting policy a bit.
From now on I will try to post for whatever scenes everyone has posted in whenever I can. So any scene that reasonably can be called self-contained will be posted for.

This will allow the scene to progress a bit faster, not that I will allow some scenes to progress too far before everyone have posted.

What kind of interaction are you looking for in Vigil with Mia, Zefir?

@Morty. Right now I thought this could start into the get energy resource thing. If i'm not wrong, the player mia was discussing this didn't post for a while?
But other things can work too like Mia not coming for training because she lost track of time while working.

Yeah he wasn't destroyed and obviously went with the demons. Thought I don't think shadowcaller wants to use him in the demon army. Mostly because we never talked about him.

I don't know about the religion. I sure would appreciate the intresst.

The skybase thing would be likly the same as Riverside, but it needs more People on the AMEN side.

Yeah, we already got something to hunt. Some kind of giant Elemental beast or such.

Yeah, the idea was that they'd use the heart or some other part of such a monster to power the island and move it around. I'm not sure about using the Hunting Grounds again, since they already stole the island from there, but we haven't had other ideas and it's been a long time.

Yep, But I don't know how to get MIA into it. She is not the kind of hunter you would need for it. More like the scientist who will be the one to extract the source.
And the scene I made in Vigil was just to say that things are ready on the island.

They could steal the power source from another flying island.

The wizards (who helped cure VIGILantes infected by demons after the invasion) happen to have a monster part that could be used as a power source. Seems too easy to just give it to Mia to use, though.

If there's no interesting ideas people want to pursue they could just run the turbines off a slowly-built-up Normal Power Source: install lots of solar panels / a coal plant / a giant magic crystal / dozens of hamsterwheels on the flying island. Sure, there's merit in showing VIGIL working towards this, but it's been approximately forever(2 and a half years) since they got the island.

Yes, at this point it's been so long I'm not sure if it's worth it to make it particularly difficult. We can either come up with something now or wait for Cassandra to show up after the Riverside battle and help Mia get it running.

As said I'm fine.
It more or less misses the power source nothing more.

But I like the Solar panal Idea for something like an extra source. That would make the island fly, even if it would be very slow.

I'd be fine with installing some normal power sources that can move the island, but need some time to charge up. Like solar panels and wind turbines. They can replace it with something stronger later.

What's happening is that bandits took over a village and Vigil was asked to help in getting them to leave.

One of the heroes was hoping the could scare off the bandits without violence. VIGIL being involved starts here.

Sophia volunteers to help with the bandits. I'm sure her motivation is this is completely reasonable, like wanting important VIGIL members to have time to focus on the demons.

So I was pondering some updates I need to make to the GLoG OP. As usual, I started skimming it to see if there's any other tidying I can do.

That lead me to the conclusion that was reached a long time ago by every other org. The member list is ultimately unmaintainable. With both characters and players coming and going and the inconsistency of knowing when that happens, I just don't think it can be reasonable kept up. I also don't think it's useful in the state it's been in.

So unless someone has a very good reason to keep it around, I'm going to do an overhaul to the OP that will involve removing it. I'll continue to note a few key people, like the leadership council or people in specific roles, but nothing past that.

The members list has never served much purpose except be a hassle, so I agree.

As far as Vigil goes - if Alice wants to participate, then I suppose we're good to go once Lilies confirms Kalya's participation.

I've updated the Glog OP.

It's a pretty big one, so let me note a few changes.

• I added a new feature of Glog. A new child care/babysitting/play area initiative that was established by Sakura and Reelshka. IC the stated goal is to offer free child care for downtrodden and poor families, with the rest of the space being open to anyone to have their kids watched for a fee. The play area is also open to anyone at any time if their parents are supervising. OoC this serves as a place for younger children who might not otherwise have a good excuse to cross paths to have an easy place to have scenes together.
• Morty suggested to me he was going to make a post introducing the area in Glog. So you might want to take a peek at what I wrote at the top and in the building section. Let me know if you think of anything I can tweak and improve.
• I removed the member list, as promised. Basically most things that were tracking specific characters were removed. The only exceptions are the leadership council and anywhere where a PC runs a particular area.
• Overall it's been tidied up a bit. I reorganized some info, moved some important info out of spoilers to make it more accessible, trimmed down a few things.
