Default Homebrew Ceremonies (Geist: The Sin-Eater)

Here's a couple of my custom ceremonies for Geist: The Sin-Eater. My character was a musician so they focus on music.
It is worth noting that these rolls are Extended Rolls.

    Call of the Grave

The Sin-Eater begins the ritual by playing a song. This song will set the mood for the ceremony, so the Sin-Eater will
choose wisely. Using a mirror, the Sin-Eater draws their face (eyes, jaw, hair, nose, mouth) in lipstick, eye-liner or any
similar beauty product on the mirror. The Sin-Eater gazes into it and repeats the name of the individual three times
and requests that the ghost make an appearance and for what reason. If successful, the targeted ghost obliges and
using the Sin-Eater's own plasm to appear in the mirror. This ceremony lasts up to 5 minutes and cannot be repeated
on the same spirit for a month after a success.
    __________________________________________________ _________________________
    4-dot Advancement:
After completing the first part above, the Sin-Eater binds a personal belonging, or a body part of the ghost (hair, nail,
blood, etc...) to the mirror. The Sin-Eater may then pull a ghost from the mirror and place them (in Twilight) in their
current location. The ghost will be unable to interact with those who cannot normally interact with ghosts.
Supernatural abilities and items to see ghosts work normally. This will automatically fail if the ghost is otherwise
unable to venture from their current location.

1-dot Roll: Psyche + Ceremonies (merit) + Persuasion (roll once per minute. Extended roll requires 2 successes)
4-dot Roll: Psyche + Ceremonies (merit) + Occult (roll once per minute. Extended roll requires 4 successes)
    __________________________________________________ _________________________
    1-dot Results:
Exceptional Success: The ghost may choose to keep the link between their consciousness and the mirror open longer.
Success: The ghost appears in the mirror and is visible to all who look upon it.
Failure: The ritual fails and the ritual must be started over.
Exceptional Failure: The Sin-Eater appears in the mirror and loses their vision for the duration. They are able to move
as per usual, but can only see through the mirror as if they were stuck inside of it - right becomes left. If the mirror is
portable, the Sin-Eater may carry it with him to guide themselves.
    __________________________________________________ _________________________
    4-dot Results
Exceptional Success: The ghost is pulled through the mirror and uses any plasm in the area to appear corporeal for 5
minutes. The ghost is intangible but visible to all.
Success: The ghost is pulled through the mirror.
Failure: The connection with the ghost fails immediately and the entire ritual must be restarted.
Exceptional Failure: The mirror turns black and cracks form on the surface. The Sin-Eater's consciousness is stuck in
the inert mirror for 5 minutes. The Sin-Eater 's body collapses until their consciousness transfers back.
    __________________________________________________ _________________________

    Modifiers:
+2 The Sin-Eater personally knew the ghost when they were alive
-2 The mirror was never used by the targeted ghost when they were alive
+1 The Sin-Eater has a personal possession of the targeted ghost from when they were alive, as this is harder to
obtain that a bone from their grave.

Default Re: Homebrew Ceremonies (Geist: The Sin-Eater)

    Whisps of Memory

Cost: 1 Wound from Sin-Eater, 1 Wound Reagents: 1 drop of blood (or plasm if gh forsotm) f rinodmiv tihdeu ainldividual showing the memory, Homemade Vision Dust (Potassium Chloride + Powdered Aluminum + Iron Filings)
    __________________________________________________ _________________________
The ritual starts with a song. The song may be sung or hummed by the Sin-Eater as they build a small fire in a fireplace, pit, camp, etc. The Grave Dirt is placed in the center of the fire and the firewood is stacked in a cone around it. The fire is lit. The individual showing the memory combines the reagents for the Vision Dust (with the Sin-Eater's guidance if not the Sin-Eater themselves) in a receptacle. During the mixing portion, the individual meditates on the message they wish to show in the smoke. Once they are content with the memory or scene, the Sin-Eater tosses the Vision Dust, one handful at a tie into the fire. The fire changes to purple and sparks gold and silver.
