Paladin Oath of Conquest
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...R_thVlUc1reHmg
I wanted to play a character inspired by Xerxes the First, but I couldn’t settle on anything in the book to make it work well. So I wrote an archetype to make it work well. This archetype draws inspiration from the Oath of the Crown, the Oath of Vengeance, and a little bit of One Piece. If there are any criticisms or suggestions, feel free to respond.Feel free to google me.

Re: Paladin Oath of Conquest
Why Charm Person? Why Healing Word?
Why Mass Healing Word?
Why Divination?
Why Mass Cure Wounds?
Conquering King is too powerful. Make it knocked prone, and have to succeed on your save DC to stand up, and no effects on a success.
Commander's Will is good.
Abjuring Aura... It feels a touch too strong. I'm not sure it is-it's, at best, -5 per attack. It obviously helps against hordes, but not as hot against singular or smaller numbers of big foes. Playtest this.
Fearsome Willpower isn't bad, it just feels too limited. Make it more universally applicable.
Supreme Commander is far too good. Most Paladin capstones last one minute, not an hour, and this is as good as any of them.I have a LOT of Homebrew!

Re: Paladin Oath of Conquest
The oath spells are all dedicated to control and boosting allies. Conquering King I admit I wasn't sure how to balance. I'll playtest abjuring aura. I think Fearsome Willpower is okay, just thinking about how much damage that could do as an AoE that travels for a minute. And I'll change it to a minute.

Re: Paladin Oath of Conquest
Ahhhh there it is. I'll admit, it's pretty good. I just don't like it, given your level 7 aura is based around fear, which you can't cause until level 9 outside of your channel divinity. Plus, the one I built is more of a buffer than a debuffer, which I personally prefer.
