Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
Assuming DE keep to the order the 'frames were released in, the next primes are:
Limbo
Mesa
Chroma
Equinox
Atlas
Wukong
Ivara
Nezha
Inaros
If they keep to a male/male then female/female order like they've tried to do, then Titania is due before Inaros.
Assuming 3 months between each priming, Inaros will be due in about 2 years (22 months or 25 months) as Birb Prime was released in March.

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
Yeah, Ivara and Titania back to back. That's gonna be amazing. I'll probably Prime Access both of those so I don't have to wait for them to build. I might even keep my non-Prime Ivara just because there are so many different builds that are great for different things; Titania doesn't really need anything other than a Razorwing Blitz build.

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
Personally, I'd like a Nezha Prime with his passive set so that if you stack all the -friction mods (Maglev, Cunning Drift, Streamline Form), you'd hit 0% friction instead of the -75% friction plus whatever his passive currently does.
While that build would only be usable on the new open world maps, being able to travel across the whole map in a single slide would be highly entertaining.
Since sliding also makes you harder to hit than sprinting, plus you can slide in one direction while firing in another, it'd make skirmishing enemy patrols and bases more interesting.

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
Huh... Mesa Prime and Equinox Prime would both be much easier to farm than the non-prime versions, so I'd expect that to make them stupidly popular. And possibly also kill off the boss fights the regular versions drop from, but whatever.

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
You know when you're bullet jumping towards doors , you accidentally hit the lintel, spend a couple seconds disentangling yourself before dropping down to the floor and carrying on?
+57% slide, -75% friction Nezha makes every obstacle becomes a lintel (getting stuck under stairs is typical), plus the out of bounds areas on regular maps can become infinite falling loops (momentum is sometimes conserved so you're still sliding forward while you're re-spawning).
As much as I like Slideboy, he only comes out with that maximum speed build on certain maps.
While Mesa Prime would be much easier to farm, Equinox Prime depends entirely on the rarity of her relics (I'm looking at you, Axi K2), the rarity of her parts and whether she'd need 9 components like her regular version.
That's a lot of praying to RNGesus.Last edited by Brother Oni; 2018-05-10 at 02:03 AM.

The two that I might buy Prime Access for are Mesa Prime and Ivara Prime. It really depends on the grind.

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
I usually don't find the grind for the frame itself to be too bad - they seem to spread the parts in terms of rarity fairly well (e.g. one rare, two uncommon and one common). Melee weapons with two parts are a different story; for some reason DE takes a perverse pleasure in making you try to get two blades, two handles and a BP all of which are uncommon or rare (I'm looking at you Kronen Prime).

The 850 day login reward is a Riven cache. It also comes with a free Riven capacity increase.
I got Lanka, Knell, and Okina on the off chance that anyone is curious. 2 of them had the same challenge to unlock, which was handy.

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
Depending on what its stats are at rank 10, it could be a really nice mod (let any frame other than Rhino/Nezha/Atlas ignore all knockdown effects is pretty nice) or a practical joke by DE (99.9% chance of resisting knockdown with that 1/1000 chance happening far too often...).
Personally I'm still about 40-odd days from the Day 700 Sigma and Octantis... I want those sweet, sweet MR points.

Note that Primed Reach may be significantly not as good as it used to be, due to the melee rework.

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
For the grind to get her Khora was a mediocre speedbump on the road to MR 26. The only good thing i found with her was her Passive cat and her noble stance the rest felt useless or janky. The whipclaw was ok but i have better melee weapons than it could ever hope to be

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
From what I've been told, her 4 is currently her saving grace in that it's basically a much better Vauban Bastille.
It was incredibly useful in Sortie 3 yesterday, since even without range boost it stopped the repair drones from reaching Ambulas.I'm mostly here for Warframe and a tiny bit of RWBY.

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
Unfortunately I think I concur with Leon - While Khora has a reasonably interesting gimmick, she's just one more warframe whose powers are along the lines of "1 to do damage, 2 to do more damage, 3 to gimmick and 4 for damage+effect", broadly speaking.
I felt the same way about Octavia, Gara and Harrow, the latter of whom I think shares a lot with Khora in their abilities to immobilise enemies.
While I would not be so crude as to just criticise a free game for not giving me more free stuff, I'm certainly not feeling the same sort of urgency to play with them as I did with Titania and Inaros.
I suppose that all of the Warframes can't be entirely different, every time; that's unreasonable to ask of any creative process. I do feel that there are plenty of archetypes and mechanics that could be implemented in order to make some 'frames stand out more, though.~ CAUTION: May Contain Weasels ~

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
If Khora really does feel a lot like playing Harrow, I should try her out. Just from looking at their abilities, it doesn't seem like they would have much in common, with Harrow having 3 non-damaging support abilities, and Khora only having one ability with a support option. Still, this makes me a bit more interested... though I doubt I'll actually have all of her components before she's updated.

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
Only thing Harrow and her have in common is binding things in chains ~ a Harrow is a much better frame to have in a squad since he can give you Crit, Health and Energy while doing that binding. oh and short duration Invulnerability

Yeah, I was looking at the summary someone gave of Khora's abilities where they all do direct damage and scratching my head at the comparison to Harrow, who has no abilities that directly deal damage.

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
That's because I'm really dumb, and accidentally CTRL+X'd out what should have been Vauban without realising.
Some damaging abilities, some immobilising, some passive/utility... A better comparison than how that paragraph actually turned out, so apologies for the confusion.
I think I still stand by my point, though. While I'm evidently not a battle-hardened user of Khora, I struggle to see a niche for her while Vauban, Frost and Limbo all have similar roles, but tend to be flat out better at it. Being able to have a second Pet with you is cute, but I don't think it too contentious to say that Pets aren't all that great to begin with? Certainly not on par with some other frames' 3/4 abilities.Last edited by Wraith; 2018-05-22 at 03:27 AM.

Re: Warframe In The Playground - The Grustrag 03
Khora is okay.
She's really not much like Frost (who kinda does everything) or Limbo (who does Limbo things). She is more similar to Vauban with the AoE suspending CC, but in practice it felt more like Volt's overload to me. It's always centered on you and has a noticeable animation.
As a passive, Venari is great. Pets do lots of different things (and having a pet on top of a sentinel is much better for a lot of people since they get to keep Vacuum). You can get more Radar, highlighting enemies, removing enemy armor, healing you, killing things in any reasonable content (so maybe not ESO), (and I guess opening lockers and calming skates, which are not particularly worthwhile).
As a 3rd ability, Venari's precepts are weak. The extra healing one is the only one that's really usable as an active because she's so slow to hit enemies when you mark them.
