I think trinia is a problem that will need to be addressed at some point. It's certainly an interesting idea to try and get the queen involved. Whether or not she'll be an ally or believe the *other* rumor going around that trinia killed eodred (or the other other rumor that she was around eodred for more than painting) remains to be seen.

Bringing up the painting will reveal a potentially interesting facet of the ileosa/eodred relationship (perhaps she knows why trinia was painting a bench of all things).

Just checking, but has Dalen actually been appraised of Aliani's plans for this evening? I don't believe he's aware of any other arrangements you've made.

As for crafting the item:

If the caster is out adventuring, he can devote 4 hours each day to item creation, although he nets only 2 hours’ worth of work.

2 hours worth of work is 250 gp worth of progress, which is sufficient to complete a 200 gp item.

My mind's just been so work focused that all my mental writing's been: type this, file that, pray the office installs AC, etc. I was trying to get more than 100 words - dress it up. Well, no, that’s BS, I do, but I hope I’m not being overly unpleasant about it. I just get slightly paranoid when things get slowed down that it’ll drop off entirely, and I love the interactive parts between us but also hope they don’t take a month to get through. :)

I totally get the crappy work situation — it’s my busiest time of year as well. Came home last night and fell asleep at 5:30, which was probably uncouth as I was taking the family out to dinner at 6. For my wife’s birthday. So, yeah.

Looks like we are wrapping up chat time.

I’ll be making a basic disguise in the next couple hours (take 10 gives me a 13 which isn’t great but the point is simply to not be seen as me going into the meeting so shouldn’t matter much in practice). You know, a little dark hair dye, fluff out the eyebrows a bit, little stubble on my normally baby-smooth and generally striking chin.

I've deducted 20 gp from Dalen and added Disguise Self. Also updated his spell prep for the day.

Just so everyone knows what he has:
Sleep, Charm Person, Silent Image, Disguise Self, Mage Armor, Invisibility, Create Pit, Web, Hideous Laughter (1 slot prepped for each)

I was this close to using Disguise Self to disguise Dalen as Lamm and try to infiltrate his hideout (we got the address from Yargin when Dalen interrogated him) while he knows Lamm is out at this meeting, but even with his piddly 8 wisdom Dalen knows that's a pretty reckless plan to go in alone like that since everyone else will be at that meeting. Still want a disguise, though.

Apologies for the long wait on what ultimately was a short scene transition post, but I wanted to get the game moving again and figured introducing all the characters in Aliani's two worlds would be the best way to start off.
You will likely meet the remaining two captains of the Milani Movement next post.

I am assuming that Aliani is in disguise but using one that Haeluna would recognize him in (otherwise this meeting would get awkward quick), and that Dalen is in disguise (although not as Gaedren Lamm as that would make everything *Really* awkward heheheh), and that Silas and Miz have changed and are dressed to impress (as much as Miz dresses up anyway).
