How to use RPG-web-profiles?
Hi
My DM asked me to make my character on http://www.thetangledweb.net/home/
However, I could really use some help. Could anyone familiar with the sites and programs involved walk me through how to actually make a character?
1) I have registered.
2) I created a character name, and can click on the edit function of the character.....that is where I get lost
3) Do I need to download my character sheet, edit it, and reupload it? or am I missing something?
4) Do I need other programs to run all of this?
Thanks

Just type information into the fields, click. You don't need anything external.
Then, when you got the information you want in, click save at the bottom.
If you are familiar with D&D character set up in general, once you get going and playing with a bit, it should come out simple enough.Avatar by Alarra

Re: How to use RPG-web-profiles?
Ah, okay, I can help.
From number 2, which is click on the [EDIT] button, click on the [public permission] button. That lets other people see it. After that, you just click on the name of the character on the previous page ((the one with the edit button)) to access the profile for editing.
That's it.
Edit: Ah, I've been Ninja'ed.Last edited by Ghal Marak; 2007-08-29 at 07:58 PM.
