    Kricen nods as Shim gives his report. "Interesting. True it's not useful yet, but now that we know about the amulet we can eventually get another through a runeforge. Or maybe we can take one from a formian. Once we have two we can ferry people across. Bringing the undead would be the challenge. A portable hole or the like would help. Yes.. then we can spring out the undead when need be." Kricen smiles with the possibilities.

    "Let's try another one. Two teleports back to the dome room area. Then we can try the circle with lines extending out." He stands ready on the teleport pad for the others to join after any comments. When ready he selects the book to go back where they were. Unless there is another idea he'll then select the large dot surrounded by circles, leading to the dome room area. From there he selects the circle with six lines coming out.

    The world goes blue again for a moment, and you find yourself in one corner of a hexagonal room about 50’ across. There’s a teleport pad at every point of the room, and a construct – the types you’ve fought before, you think, but maybe in better condition – at the center of each of the six sides. The constructs twist towards you with a screech of metal, and prepare for battle.

    Shim, seeing the automatons, scowls as he moves forward a bit as he utters a curse. "Need to keep them at bay as best we can while we try to deal with them one at a time." and with that he moves forward a bit and uses the wand in his guisarme.

    "I don't have much to deal with these without my undead. I can summon more. Cover me. In thirty seconds we can teleport back out of here and come back when we are better prepared."     This is the best I can do for a ~50' diameter hexagonal room. It's actually a lot smaller on a map than it sounds like, once 6 10x10 teleport pads are taken into account.

    Still short 1 player post.

    The hammer-wielding construct closest to Shim brings its hammer up, then down on top of him with a heavy blow. The quadrupedal spike-armed one by Matai makes a metallic grinding noise, followed by a piercing shriek. Another hammerer moves up as does another shrieker, although this one steps in the grease.

    Shim and Kyron are stunned. Hands slack, the items they are holding fall to the ground.

    A summoned zombie appears, wielding a giant club. It caves in the back of one of the constructs, which collapses to the ground. Kricen begins summoning another one. Matai retargets to the other spike-armed construct, slashing it and denting the armor (hit for 7, heal Shim 5).

    Matai slashes at the prone spike construct in front of him (hit for 7). Shim aims for the one in front of him (hit for 11). Kyron tries to hit at that one as well, but his blade is poorly aimed and clangs off to the side.

    Kricen summons more undead. The ogre zombie reaches over to whack the prone Hammerer (hit for 20). Both bugbear zombies also land hits (S2 is critted for 14). The spiked one looks nearly destroyed.

    Round 4, Part 1

    Kish smashes his hammer into the Hammerer (hit for 11).

    Shim swings twice and hits the prone spiked construct once (9); inspired, he then does it again.

    No knockdown since it’s still prone.
    Second set of attacks, 1st one is a 14, still misses; 2nd one is a 19, hits for 9 damage.


    Kricen begins casting a spell (oops, forgot the DR). The zombies attack, but miss with both of their attacks.
    Kyron makes a single swing, and hits for 10 damage.

    Kricen completes his third spell. As two more bugbear zombies appear and begin their assault, The necromancer casts another spell causing a spectral hand to rip itself from his real hand which begins it's own assault on the Complex's guardians.
