Rhoha will board the boat. Falling into meditation the first chance he gets to try and prepare his armor and his fists.

Hoggie carries Rusty in his arms as he approaches Rabbi Cohen. As he nears, he stops a little off center of facing the Rabbi directly. He smiles in a distracted manner before placing two fingers to his temple and then pointing at the Rabbi’s head. He repeats the gesture.

Rabbi Cohen is duped into playing charades instead of speaking. He two-finger points to Hoggie, and nods as he two-finger points to his own temples.

Hoggie will stare with concentration at Rabbi Cohen briefly before relaxing.

“During our journey, we were ambushed and robbed by a group of stone “demons” that could fly and hide underground. They claimed to have a prior grudge against members of our group (Skald) for killing their king. They said that they would continue to attack us and should be considered a threat. Skald knows where their lair can be found.”
After a thorough recap of the aborted attempt to negotiate the acquisition of the Sea Wyvern from the “Fish man” and subsequent battle, Hoggie continues:
“I Felt at the time that risking just myself and Rusty to try and avoid violence was the best option at the time. This creature’s right to live unmolested was not trumped by our need to protect our home. Did I do the right thing?”
(Pause for the Rabbi to respond.)
“I realize now that some problems cannot be resolved peacefully and that it is the best interest of the group that we use force to advance our interests.”

spend a use of Telepathic Bond to speak to Rabbi Cohen.
This represents a seminal change in how Hoggie perceives the world. I don’t know if this changes his alignment but his perspective in relation to his concept of “Good” has changed.

"You sought the greatest good, Hoggie. That is a worthy thing. They say no good deed goes unpunished. But failure in an attempt does not mean the attempt was therefore abortive because it failed. That is hindsight thinking, and grossly unfair to yourself. And it sounds to me like Rhoha was spoiling for a fight, anyway."

Hoggie seems happier if not happy. He smiles at a spot over Rabbi Cohen’s left shoulder and strolls off down the beach to the launch.

DAY 46-50

And with that, the Blue Nixie and its pickup are sailing south again. The high-water wreck of the Sea Wyvern taunting its would be captain (Rabbi Cohen) as much as those who lost so much to get here, and nobody says it, but it is the same as having "lost a battle" in what might prove to be a very short war.

It's going to take about 4 full days for the Blue Nixie to speed with all haste back to Farshore.

In the meantime, Rhoha can take time to meditate to learn more about himself.

Hoggie will attempt to discuss strategy on defending Farshore with the leadership. He has some ideas on how to trap the approach from the beach, if there is time. He will keep a cognatogen prepared (Int) if he has the resources.

Hoggie does NOT, in fact, have the resources. He needs an alchemy crafting kit, and the stone demons stole that.

What is Hoggie's plan for trapping the approach from the beach?

Hoggie explains the thoughts he had about sand pits with concealed cover on the beach, like quick sand. Maybe obstacles like driftwood with sharpen stakes to funnel the attackers; keep them from using their superior numbers. Probably not enough time now, he thinks.

Rhoha mostly meditates on the trip back. He prepares his armor and fists as best he can for the fight he sees before them, and starts to explore what has changed with himself. He expects Sparkles to return sometime on the second day of the trip.
