R25T17: The Tatterman steps away from Björn, and cruelly smiles at him while slashing Jean's throat lightly for 5.

R25T13: Lord Hanley moves up besides Björn and concentrates. A bit of rubble flies to hit the Tatterman squarely, but not enough to actually hurt him.

R25T11: Björn, what do you do (Tats is 5' from you)?

Jean, roll a Fort save vs. a coup de grace. Roll here in the channel, since such a roll needs to be properly recorded ...

R25T11: Lying on the floor, Jean can do nothing but bleed. Björn, screaming in frustration, steps to the Tatterman and strikes out at him again wildly.

End Round 25, Begin Round 26 ...

R26T17: Confident he has killed the ashen-skinned swordsman, the Tatterman looks gleefully upon the two remaining ... two fools whose sense of fear, whatever it might be, isn't enough to warn them to run, even as the last vestige of his wounds are now disappeared. He studies Björn and then slashes at him, critting him in his left upper arm for 7.

R26T13: "Björn," says Lord Hanley, "get in a strike and then step back to exactly where you were before!" He stands waiting for Björn to follow, or at least acknowledge.

R26T11: Björn, what do you do? Do you do as Lord Hanley ... erm, commanded?

R26T11: Realising now is not the time to be fussy about who's giving orders, Björn will do as commanded suggested, but not before he makes a great stab right into the Tatterman's right shoulder with the silvered dagger for 9.

End Round 26, Begin Round 27 ...

R27T17: The strange doubling effect of the Tatterman's war razor ends. He slashes at Lord Hanley. Even though Lord Hanley tried to be tricky by judging the attack and dodging (he committed to total defense during his action, but that didn't play as some sort of parrying "dance"), the Tatterman seems to be singularly focused on him despite Björn's great stab. The monster goes where Lord Hanley least expected the attack, getting slashed across his right foot - at the top of the front of the foot at the tendon, taking 8.

R27T13: Lord Hanley then says to Björn weakly through the pain, "I had an idea to surround him, we'd draw back again, but I just got hobbled." As the Tatterman smiles at Lord Hanley's admission of disability, Lord Hanley - through tricky maneuvering of his own blade, does a fake out and tries to cut the Tatterman. Though he seemed to be successful at faking him out, the small dagger is deflected by something unseen about the Tatterman.

R27T11: Björn, what do you do?

R27T11: Björn can only grimace and continue to try to attack, out of ideas. Because he tried to attack, instead of attacking, the Tatterman easily evades.

End Round 27, Begin Round 28 ...

R28T17: Since Björn missed his last attack, enough seconds pass since his success that the Tatterman heals 5. He then slashes out at Lord Hanley and misses, but as a shock he attacks with a claw from the other hand - something he hasn't done yet this battle, but Lord Hanley ducks out of the way.

R28T13: Lord Hanley says, "Back another few feet, Björn! Keep astride me." He tries to fake out the Tatterman again, failing. However, he still uses his small size to good effect by stabbing the Tatterman in the side of the neck for 1 mod ... a pinprick. He then steps away from the Tatterman.

R28T11: Björn, what do you do?

Björn will continue to listen to the little mans suggestions and follow them until he feels they aren't working...

So he will step a little back as advised, keeping astride the lord and attack...

R28T11: Björn will continue to listen to the little mans suggestions and follow them until he feels they aren't working. So, he attacks by slashing the Tatterman's claw for 9, which is not enough to push him back. Björn then steps back a little as advised, keeping astride the lord.

End Round 28, Begin Round 29 ...

R29T17: Tatterman doesn't heal this time. He steps forward to engage the lord, and Björn has to deal with a pillar in his way. The Tatterman misses twice with his razor.

R29T13: Lord Hanley tries to juke away now from the Tatterman, but he gets slashed along the back for 5. Lord Hanley keeps himself steady and moves around Björn to try to come up the other side to where the Tatterman was a few seconds ago. "Now! step north to where I just was!"

If you step north, you will want to attack before moving for two reasons...
1) You have a pillar giving Tats cover now, and
2) Lord Hanley will have created a flanking condition.
