Default How does one create a spoiler tag?

I’m trying to make a spoiler tag, so I clicked on the little “spoil” button above the text box, but when I type my spoiler message, it doesn’t show up in the post. How do I make an actual spoiler where you can click on the little “show” button and then click the little “hide” button?

Checking your previous post, the issue is that what you type in the popup box is the spoiler's label. The content of the spoiler needs to go in between the tags instead.

So, click the "spoil" button, in the popup type some description of what you're going to say so that people can judge whether they want to open the spoiler or not, then look in the post text area for the square brackets - ][ - of the new tag and type the spoiler itself between them.
Text to spoil
Alternatively, if you want to give it a label:
Text to spoile
produces

    Spoiler
    Show
    Text to spoil

    and

    Spoiler: Spoiler Label
    Show
    Text to spoile
