Lost it at "Rebel trees", "God ride" and the whole of the last panel.

Brightened what's been a loooong feeling week.

    Thanks as always Giant.

Keep knocking it out of the park, Giant. I do not mind having to read all these awesome pages at all.

And I am losing it over "I have literally had this dream at least a dozen times." Why do I feel like Minrah is going to be slightly let down when she gets into Valhalla.

Maybe. But a little namedropping about whose shoulder she godgot to ride on is probably never going to get old. Literally never.

I'm not sure why people keep assuming that Minrah is going to get rezzed. I see her getting this information as a sort of "here is what you died for, now go enjoy Valhalla knowing that your death had purpose."

Especially since they practically say as much in the comic.

I'm surprised Thor would let the Xykon secret fortress thing slip, lol. Guess the gods keep tabs on everyone and everything like the world is their television show or something.

But I can't wait to hear more about the Snarl. That evil's long overdue for some more exposition methinks.

Nice pacing on The Giant's part. It feels like every recent comic is sort of answering our questions, but we end up feeling like something an even more important is hanging at the end of the installment.

Traditionally, when D&D gods die, they manifest as huge stone corpses in the astral plane. Perhaps we'll see the deceased Eastern Pantheon?

I imagine it was on purpose given the way he put it. Maybe the secret fortress will be some kind of after-the-quest quest? Or they can use their knowledge of its existence to worry Xykon or something.

I know the reveal will take sometime to fully come out but still the anticipation of what Thor will reveal is building to a crescendo that wants me to time travel to the future so I can read all of it already.
Either that or go into hibernation for a bit and wait until more updates come out.

The gods sure love their loop holes though. I can only imagine how terrible the universe would be if they didn't though.

My guess is it is going to be less about the Snarl and more about the gods in general, at least at first. Remember that us D&Ders can mostly understand the cosmology, but non-D&D Readers might need a bit of background before understanding what is going on.

Or, given the strip title, it's not going to be relevant at all?

Haha, Thor is awesome, "Oh, I probably wasn't supposed to mention that."

I think he's probably Neutral Good or Chaotic Good though, he doesn't seem to be a huge fan of following the rules to the letter, or being very Lawful in general. Also, Valhalla strikes me as rather Chaotic, they even have Chaotic Good outsiders (bariaurs).

the fortress is empty, Xykon only thinks his phylactery is in there so the OoTS have no reason to take it

I keep liking Thor more and more. But yes, he's clearly a bit chaotic and "absent-minded" to cover it up.
