    Sorry CWater, I hadn't realized that your PC was Ranger 2/Druid 2...I should spend a little more time familiarizing myself with everyone's capabilities. I've got the healing covered, so don't sweat it. Healing Hymn doesn't effect the wand because it only adds to curing spells that have a dice roll. Don't get me wrong, though, keep that wand handy we're bound to need it sooner or later.

    Letting the soft notes of spring fade, the bard grabs his sword and nods to Tellos and Semult, "I'm certain there will be more blood spilled this day....demon blood that is." Motioning to where Jemus has moved forward, "Onward?"

    Looking back at the mutants set to watch the doors behind them he motions to his eyes, "Stay vigilant and sound the alarm if they move to surround us."

    Jemus determines that the door he and Semult are investigating is locked.

    Semult was anxious as they group waited on Jemus, all the while the enemy had time to prepare or get help. On signal, he pulls the door open so that he'll be behind the door as it opens.

    Growing impatient, the bard moves back to the other room and looks in just as Jemus gets the door unlocked. Turning to Tellos, "Psst! Wyne and the others can secure this room while we investigate over there with the others."

    Trawyn waits for Tellos but a moment, then moves in with his sword drawn as Semult opens the door.

    The western door Semult picked the lock of swings open, revealing a staircase leading up. Blood spatters the once-beautiful wallpaper.

    Meanwhile, behind the eastern door, the giggling continues; it seems unconcerned with what you're doing, and it's nearly unimaginable that anything behind that door wouldn't have heard the sounds of the recent battle.

    Around the corner, Trawyn sees a room where four people in chain shirts, with scythes at their sides, stand around a large hexagonal table, sorting through stacks of scrolls, books, and maps. Their backs are to you and they seem, somehow, too intent on their task to have noticed you yet. The walls are painted with detailed maps of Sarkoris, over which features of the Worldwound have been painted. One of the people in the room yawns.

    Eyes wide, Trawyn ceases his motions to the opposite doors and instead points demonstrably at the doorway he's adjacent to then raises four fingers high in the air and points at his armor and weapon....attempting to silently communicate to the party four armed and armored figures.
