Re: Rise of the Runelords IC
Lizuga roars and thrusts her lucerne hammer at the creatures, unfortunately missing them both. Adalbert just makes a clean getaway. Silna shoots her crossbow, but the bolt flies wildly off-target, hitting the base of the statue. Silna promptly reloads.
The creature to the north steps out from the door frame, biting and clawing at Lebwen. Lebwen seems ready for that, easily dodging all of the attacks. As its otherwise nearest target gets safely away, another creature switches its attention to Lebwen, steping behind his back, and also attacks. It has much better result, biting and clawing for 3, 3 and 5 damage. Lebwen feels overwhelmed with wrath, wery angry at everyone around him, including the creatures. The third creature moves to attack Lizuga and gets lucerne-hammered for 11 damage as it does. It manages to get close anyway, and lands a solid bite on Lizuga's arm for 7 damage. Lizuga suddenly feels very angry. You hear wings flapping and some arcane mumbling and see a tiny winged demon-like creature appearing out of nowhere in the air. It seems to be casting something and targets it west.

Re: Rise of the Runelords IC
Lebwen hits the creature with his sword, inflicting a deep wound in the chest for 11 damage. Justin hits the creature before him for 11 damage, despite a corner being on his way, then finishes it as it falls to the ground, dealing 15 damage and cutting the creature's head straight off. Adalbert shoots his crossbow at the flyer and hits her for 0 damage as the bolt just bounces off the creature's skin. Silna drops the crossbow and moves forward drawing the greataxe. She swings at the creature wounded by Lebwen, but it easily dodges the mighty swing.
The flyer gets into the corridor leading east and starts casting something again.
The creatures claw and bite at Lebwen, hitting him for 3, 3 and 4 damage. As Lebwen falls down, the eastern creature steps closer to Silna and bites her on the armor.

Re: Rise of the Runelords IC
The creature dodges both Lizuga's and Justin's attacks, but in between catches a bolt through the chest for 4 damage. Silna swings her greataxe again, against the same target, but does not manage to bring it even close.
Suddenly a giant ant appears behind Lizuga. The flyer laughs, shouting "Wan bikujin! Wan hemûyan bikujin!", then casts another spell, which seems to have no visible effect. Lizuga turns around just in time to block the ant's bite, overcoming some internal restrain as she does. The ant's sting misses wide. The creatures bite and claw at Silna and Justing. Of their attacks, only a bite against Justin hits for 3 damage, causing Justin to become genuinely annoyed.

Justin
Justin grunts in annoyance, a fleeting moment that fades as the healer's powers spreads through him and the wound knits up before his eyes. Leaning back he easily avoids the attacks from the strange grey monstrous creature and lunges forward, both blades flying as he lashes out at the strange hmaoind before leaning forward in a daring lunge using the finest traditions of the mithral current seeking to hit the ant;'s tiny pea sized brain.

Re: Rise of the Runelords IC
Lizuga moves along the battlefield, healing wounded allies to various effect. Lebwen regains consciousness and grabs his sword again, the burning anger still there with him. Adalbert steps back and shoots at the ant, but the bolt is deflected by the insect's heavy chitinous carapace. Justin attacks both the ant and the strange creature, having success in hitting both, but bringing down neither. Silna swings her greataxe again, but the creature evades.
The flyer looks Lizuga into eyes and makes a gesture. Lizuga falls down on the floor. The creature fighting silna hits with its claw for 2 damage. The creature fighting Justin looks heavily wounded, but still hits with bite and with claw for 2 and 3 damage. The ant retaliates at Justin from the opposite side, biting him deeply on a leg for 7 damage. Justin keeps being genuinely annoyed by the course of events.

Even as the wounds seek to knit themselves shut he looks down at the blood soaking his armour and knows he'd can't too much longer of this. Re: Rise of the Runelords IC
Lying on the floor, Lebwen makes an attack against the creature, but his best achievement is that he barely manages not to hit himself. Then he stands up and gets clawed for 2 damage as he does. Justin shouts at Lizuga and attacks two of his opponents. Trying to do three things at once, he succeeds at neither, despite very competent Adalbert's help. Silna swings her axe again and this time manages to chop a leg from under a creature, who falls to the ground in a quickly forming pool of blood. The other creature and the ant attack Justin from different sides, but the young man competently defends himself against all the attacks. The ant disappears. The flyer swoops down, grabbing the lucerne hammer near the head and flies east along the corridor with stairs leading up, dragging the shaft of the lucerne hammer along the steps as she does, and eventually disappearing into the darkness.

Re: Rise of the Runelords IC
I thank you again, Lizuga. And Lebwen, no hard feelings, eh? After the burning sensation of the fresh wound somewhat vanishes, Adalbert pulls the ring of protection from his finger.
This here is a Ring of Protection. It protects mind and body. If no one has any objections I want Lebwen to have it as his combat style is the most aggressive one here. The halfling rubs his wound. He gives Lebwen the ring. I also deeply apologize for suggesting buying a ton of utility tools when in fact we should have really invested in your armor.
