No, unfortunately. I wouldn't suggest house-ruling it either, as I don't think it quite fits flavor-wise.

Like Death, they gave the Sun domain an alignment-bias. Like there's never been a Good death god or Evil sun god before. Come on, Death is one's final rest, where one goes to the afterlife in heaven. What's Evil about that? And the sun? It burns. It destroys. It kills. What's Good about that?

Although I appreciate the flavor behind using the Sun to destroy undead, I don't find appropriate for all sun-clerics, regardless of alignment. I always hated the Sun domain granted power for that reason.

I suggest homebrewing a different granted power.

And thus, was the repose domain born. Even though it shares just under half the spells with the Death domain, has the same granted power, and even has the Evil-descriptored deathwatch spell on it.

The Death domain should've been called the Undeath domain in the first place.

I'd just be lazy and keep the single greater turning effect, except that it burns them with light instead of positive energy. Or maybe make it a variant "turning as damage" effect.

    Hmm...

If you Rebuke/Command undead normally, once per day, you may Turn/Destroy undead with one of your Rebuke Undead attempts.

    Sound good? Bad?

if i was going to do something like that, i would just keep one per day blow up all of the undead (but we have a vampire in the party and if i was to command her, i could release her, if i turn her to dust, she gone for good)

Quick google search got this guy's "Moon/Night Domain":

power: once per day you may use one of your rebuke/turn undead to greater rebuke undead (all undead that were suposed to be rebuked or turned are instead controlled)

    1) obscuring mist
    2) darkness
    3) deeper darkness
    4) armor of darkness (deities & demigods)
    5) enervasion
    6) create undead
    7) waves of exhaustion
    8) create greater undead
    9) energy drain

This is pretty good, but i found a couple of problems with it, one i don't have deities and demigods, two i liked sun domain for it's spells as well

Number one isn't a problem. As for number two...which spells in particular? Perhaps there's a more suitable domain, with a more suitable domain power, if it's just a couple of the spells that interest you.

Not in particular. If you're gonna make a character-specific homebrew rule to begin with, you should go on ahead and tailor the granted power to your character's deity/philosophy as much as you want anyway.

However, the subject did come up before. It got a couple of responses.

Shouldn't require a whole new domain. If it's an evil death god, give it other evil-type domains. There's nothing evil about the concept of Death itself.

Even though it shares just under half the spells with the Death domain, has the same granted power, and even has the Evil-descriptored deathwatch spell on it.
Note that they caught their little rules glitch. Last I saw, the Repose domain had ben revised to use hide from undead instead of deathwatch.

Of course, if it had been me, I would have just removed from deathwatch the whole "foul sight of undeath" thing and the Evil descriptor along with it.

The Death domain should've been called the Undeath domain in the first place.
    Ya got that right.

unfortunatly it's most if not all of the spells that interest me, but i was wanting to know what people thought about the whole greater turn thing

Rebuke is horribly, horribly, horribly broken at a PC's command. While it "should" work that way, for the sake of the campaign, no.
Alot is not a word. It's a lot, two words.
Always use the proper tool. If the proper tool isn't available, try a hammer.

The main problem with a greater rebuking effect is the HD cap on undead you can control. If you end up controlling the vampire in your party, that leaves about 8 hit dice worth of undead left that you can control, assuming you and the vampire are the same ECL.

The glory domain's granted power is "Turn undead with a +2 bonus on the turning check and +1d6 to the turning damage roll." That might work for you instead of greater turning.

Domains and spells from Deities and Demigods appear in their own section.
