Nah. The creature is just a tad self-centered.

Or the creature could be the creature that grabs Tarvek, who is about to have a stressful time.

From a Doylist perspective, Tarvek turning into something the audience wouldn't treat as romantic competition with Gil for Agatha's affection would disrupt one of the greater plot threads of the narrative. It could happen, but I haven't yet seen a reason why it would.

That suggestion gives me serious Bloodborne flashbacks. "Oh, Kos, line my brain with eyes!"

I suspect Agatha's about to give another lesson in why you don't tick off a Heterodyne, even a nice one.

Not seen much similiar visual points to the creature and the balcon guy. Big guy is rounder, and has one large centered eye.

The balcony guy doesn't have similiar clothes or tech parts to Snackleford, so I doubt it.

My personal guess is that balcony guy is the result of an earlier experiment.

It is definitely funniest if it simply (loosely)

Balcony character: oh, I remember what's going to happen next, it wasn't good
    <Tarvek get's grabbed>
Balcony character: but don't worry, I was fine.

I like it when a comic does this. It shows that the author put a lot of time into the dialogue and planned it out in advance.

Tarvek could probably ask what happens next but his new friend may not reply to avoid disrupting the time line.

I went on an archive binge to re-read the Ivo Sharktooth story and noticed something new. The two Jaegers he sees waving in the street at the end are the same two he tossed at the giant goon back in the Noodle Runs. Guess they did forgive him, even if the guy didn't have a hat they could claim.

    Oh gosh, it's Tarvek.

Or am I reading it wrong?
I hope he got/will get better as the time loop breaks, and not stay this way.

Balcon guy says that Travek was/will be/is fun, most likely based on the raving when travek was anchored to Higgs time sense.

Next he says that he shouldn't stay around, which is the most sensible action to take when there are Sparks, a extradimensional monster, more Sparks and a snapped power line.

That's the fun part of being in the Then as well as the To Be and the Now.

You know what happened and wonder what will happen simultaneously, while knowing the sequence that led to what happened Then to influence the Now.

Well, yeah, Jaegers aren't going to hold a grudge about being thrown at a good fight. Annoying menial labor, sure. Stuck on guard duty some place nothing interesting happens, yeah, they might have some grievances to air. But your standard Jaeger? Never going to have hard feelings about being stuck in a brawl, aside from maybe thinking that you should have been there fighting too.

Not going for "Day of the Tentacle" by Laverne, then?

He's been largely lobotomised by the Baron, I wouldn't imagine there's much sensible lurking around in there for her to find.

I'm not convinced he's recovered yet. The Baron was targeting the spark, not his malicious nature. Perhaps the word "monsters" just happen to trigger that area of the brain.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see that he is unable to make or enhance monsters anymore. But continues to try because he believes he can.

Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if he has somehow recovered.

5 quatloos on his recovery being related to the time scambling monstrosity that was jovially talking with Tarvek and Higgs.

Compare his speech balloon in today's comic with the one the last time we saw him:
    http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20181119

Back then he had a normal sane round speech balloon.

Today's is slightly edgy, somewhat like the bear's on the same page, but it could also pass for early stage Spark madness.

Hmmm... I'll admit the timey wimey monster does bring up some interesting possibilities.
