I like Belkar & Roy's dynamic in these latest strips.

Obviously Belkar and Roy interacting is extremely precious but I want to point out that Roy establishes a full day of time-skip between this book and the previous one. Balkar's clock is ticking.

No, Eugene is legitimely cold towards Roy, these two do actually care for each other.

I'm really curious to see whare this is going though. Why did she call (besides testing her spell obviously).

Also even as a non-D&D player I appreciate the balancing of "this spell does everything Sending does but better AND it's a spell level lower but it only works with one person."

I was thinking more her personality than her attitude toward Roy. She seems more Eugene-ish than Sara-ish.

I dimly remember two but I wouldn't bet on it. Anyhow that also means a full day of captivity for Lien and O-Chul ands half a dozen more tunnels explored by team evil (without O-Chul and Lien noting down which were actually explored and which the MitD wrongfully marked which something I assumed they kept track of).

I dunno they're both party animals if I remember correctly. But she does have the whole "wizard=superior" thing down pat. And she is Eugene's favourite child.

I thought for a minute that Roy was saying Eugene had disguised himself as Julia in the final panel, before I figured out that it was just a snarky comment.

I doubt Julia will be able to get her spell working as she hopes...balance seems to be enforced on spell power on the ootsverse.

20 days went by between Roy's prediction and Durkon's being vampired.

About 6 days, went by between Durkon's being vampired, and Vampire Durkon's death. At most 2 days has passed between Vampire Durkon's death and the current strip - fairly consistent with Team Evil having spent 8 nights at the North Pole:

So we're looking at 28, maybe 29 days out of the 7 weeks having been used up. Pretty consistent with there being almost 3 weeks remaining.
