I have a few products on DTRPG, these two are the most relevant to 5e: a small book on weapons and a big book on monster generation.

I'm working on aa second Manual of arms (armor and shields).

    5e Manual of Arms: Weapons
    https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product...urers_id=12430

Manual of Arms is a series of booklets that enhance, change and reinterpret existing equipment and mechanics for non-magical combat. Each booklets deal with a single subject. If there is enough interest, they’ll be collected in a single tome in the future.

What is this book about? This book is a collection of ideas to make weapons more diverse, streamlined, balanced, varied, and fun. Old versions of the game had many weapon options that were not used in the current one. Fortunately, they are easy to use, with a few adjustments to match the current rules. Many ideas in this book are updated and adapted from other iterations or other games.

    Teratogenicon
    https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product.../Teratogenicon

Our most impressive book so far - is a collection of tables and essays on how to create your own monsters.

It contains one chapter for each of the fourteen most famous monster types (aberrations, beasts, celestials, constructs, and so on). Each chapter examines specific habits, appearance, goals, traits, powers, origins, and many other topics. In addition, the appendixes will help you to create stats (for both old school and contemporary games), to roleplay monsters, and to include all monster types into a coherent whole, among other things.

The book is beautifully illustrated by Rick Troula (of The Displaced fame). Take a look at the previews to see for yourself!

Really late, but I haven't been as active here as I was in the past.

The first we have is Archetypes of Eberron. At least a pair of subclasses for each base class (with many featuring three), covering many of the unique prestige classes that existed in 3.5e, along with a bevy of other thematic choices. Can be used in non-Eberron, but it'll take some work for a few of them.

Secondly, well... it was my distinct honour to work with Keith Baker himself on Exploring Eberron. Want the creator's take on the lesser-known/covered aspects of the setting that Wizards of the Coast didn't feel were as important? Look no further. You'll discover new archetypes for the artificer, cleric, druid, monk, and bard. Play unique Eberron races and subraces including gnolls, Dhakaani goblinoids, aasimar of diverse faiths, and ruinbound dwarves.

After two years of work, I have two(!) exciting announcements from your favorite GitP homebrewer*!

First, Grod's Guide to Greatness has been updated to a new edition, with two(!) new base classes, four new subclasses, and all-around improvements to presentation and balance. An even more obscene amount of new player options for the low, low price of $4.95.
    Spoiler

But even better, Grod's Grimoire of the Grotesque has officially released! Whereas my Guide is full of new options, the Grimoire is all about changes and variants-- think of it as the 5e version of 3.5's Unearthed Arcana. Remember seeing me make weird posts about skill challenges and downtime/crafting rules? This is why! Also $4.95, only from the DM's Guild.

My latest D&D 5E book just released today . . . potions will never be the same!

Potions don’t have to be boring. With the potions inside these pages, you can create magical armor made of crystals, use shrunken heads to gain different powers, sprout glimmering wings with a halo, and much more. Each potion has one or two pages devoted to it, including a complete short story detailing how the potion came into existence. The usual statistics are accompanied by beautiful artwork, descriptions of the potion’s smell, taste, warnings, and brewing instructions. And, that’s just the potions . . . there’s far more to discover inside!

    https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product...iate_id=183912

    The book includes:

    • 30+ brand new potions, including an origin story and incredible artwork for each one!
    • New plants to use as ingredients, inventory, and story points!
    • Supplemental rules for potions, including wild effects, potion misuse, and partial potions!
    • Potion-themed locations and fully-stocked shops suitable for any campaign, including vibrant NPCs!
    • Battle maps, adventure hooks, and random places to find potions for even more adventure options!
    • More than 20 tables to expand potion possibilities and flavor! Plus new spells and monsters!
    • VTT maps include 300DPI and 72DPI grid and no-grid
    • Printer-friendly version included with digital edition

I release a lot of supplementary content for 5e under TBM Games, funded mostly by Patreon support and DTRPG sales. Each month, though, I set something I've written to be a pay-what-you-want title (after all, it's hard to argue with a price tag of "free" ). This month, it's my goblin-centric paladin subclass, the Oath of the Junker, a paladin who makes gear out of scrap materials.

If you enjoy it, I'd certainly appreciate your checking out the rest of my library on DriveThruRPG!
    The not-so-secret identity of Nat1Advice.
I also write more serious 5e content on my blog, TBM Games.

    Post Re: Member-Produced Commercial Content

A couple years ago, after becoming captivated by the rpg world, I decided I wanted to write RPG material myself. I took the RPG Writers Workshop course, and have been doing it ever since. (Except a long hiatus during pandemic).

These are what I have to offer with more on the way.

    Bitter Cold: Cold Weather Encounters

Fill in your adventure with incredible cold weather encounters. This random encounters supplement provides hundreds of encounter variations (well over 1,000 possible permutations) for your chilling journey.

    This also includes:

    • 18 New Creatures: Snow Hag, Chillborn Drake, Black Ice, Frost Gnome, Stygian Gnoll, Crystalline Entity, and more.
    • 5 Maps: Crystal Cave, Cave Camp, Icebreaker ship, Ice Tomb, Cold Village

These work well with the Rime of the Frostmaiden official publication or any campaign occurring in a cold climate.
    CCC-GGC02-01 Entombed

Cold, bleak, and unforgiving the river Styx winds through sheets of ice that comprise the layer of Stygia. An iceberg, drifting through the floe, bears signs of a sahuagin massacre. Sent to find a neutral third party, a clever devil asks the characters to investigate.

A Four-Hour Adventure for Tier 2 Characters. Optimized for APL 8.

    ADVENTURERS LEAGUE LEGAL

CCC-PFF02-01 Mystery of the White Worm

This adventure takes the party on an expedition to the Glacier of the White Worm to investigate reports of increased activity around the supposed location of the fabled Barroch's Hold near the center of the frozen ice.

A Four-Hour Adventure for Tier 2 Characters. Optimized for APL 8

    ADVENTURERS LEAGUE LEGAL

    Hidden Cove

This 4-hour module takes the characters from a hidden cove near the Moonsea to hidden tunnels leading under the Glacier of the White Worm. What starts as a recovery mission leads to the uncovering of a much more sinister plot.

Optimized for a group of level 7's (APL 7), this adventure can be adjusted for any Tier 2 party.
    Inside you'll find:

    • Three battlemaps
    • Introducing the ice encrusted skeleton, a hardier version of the standard skeleton for colder climates.

    Knightmares

One of the fiercest most flavorful foes any adventurer can face, the dreaded death knight's reputation is just as foreboding as its presence.

KNIGHTMARES brings you new material to create rich death knight villains for your campaign's narrative and higher tier conflicts. Develop intriguing backstories and powerful foes with this guide to one of the games most intimidating creatures. Equip them with magic weapons and new mounts, then assemble an army. Throw all that in one of eleven included lair maps, and you have yourself an incredible challenge for your players meet and overcome.

This 89-page supplement click the link to go over what it contains, too much to list here.

    Lost in Shadow

Experience Lost Mine of Phandelver like you never have before, from another plane!

This alternate starter campaign takes you to all the familiar locations of the Lost Mine of Phandelver adventure from the other side of the veil. Some places look the same, some very different. The entire plane is trying to strip you of your mind, your memory, and your motivation. Discover how the Forge of Spells was fueled. Learn the location of lost adventurers from the original Phandelver expedition. See what Cragmaw Castle looked like in its prime. All of this and more, as this takes you from level 1 to level 5 with well over 20 hours of play time.

    Shadowfell Random Encounters

Random Encounter tables for Shadowfell along with monster statblocks for the custom creatures that go with it.

This started out as an 11-page encounter guide and has grown into a mini monster manual as well. This is an excerpt from the Lost in Shadow starter campaign.

This settings supplement include 35 new creatures pertinent to the Shadowfell. Only some are used in the encounters table. The rest are for use in any Shadowfell adventure you choose.

    Visions of Death

This 4 to 6 hour module goes from Saltmarsh to Baldur's Gate in a race against time. A dark vision warns of a terribly cataclysmic event in Baldur's Gate and the characters are hired to deliver supplies before its too late.

This adventure can be adjusted for any Tier 1, 2, or 3 party. It is intended to help usher characters from the Saltmarsh area to Baldur's Gate, just in time for Descent into Avernus. A challenging voyage that should give them a wild ride with new challenges at sea.

If you are looking for an adventure to help connect the Ghosts of Saltmarsh hardcover book with the new Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus book this was designed for you!

    Shipboard Encounters

Fill in your adventure with amazing shipborne encounters. This random encounters supplement provides hundreds of encounter variations (over 1,000 possible permutations) for your ocean going voyage.
    This also includes:

    • 13 New Creatures: Algae Amalgam, Brine Ooze, False Jellyfish, Hammerhead Turtle, Oil Sludge, Rum Barrel Golem, Sea Serpent, and more.
    • 5 Maps: Dogger Fishing Boat, Prison Barge, Whale Carcass, Recreation Barge and a Smoldering Fort

These work well with the Ghosts of Saltmarsh official publication or any campaign using ocean travel.

Sigurd's Island - Tendrils of Saltmarsh Part 1

It is revealed Sigurd had his own island. Explore Sigurd's home port in this 4 to 8 hour adventure. See what plots he had underway and discover his true agenda. Learn about the rest of his fleet, the residents of his island, and other guests that reside there. The clues left on the Sea Ghost were just the beginning. Sigurd was up to so much more.

This adventure is presented as APL 6 (adjustable) and is intended to fill a level gap left in the Ghosts of Saltmarsh hardcover book. It ties into several items found on the Sea Ghost and extends the backstories of many of its characters.

    Inside you'll find:

    • Maps: Seven maps depicting different sections of his base and island. And one of the Snapping Line inn in Saltmarsh.
    • Ship: Stat block for a new ship called a Sloop.
    • Creatures: Eight new creature statblocks, including parrot, pirate, pirate doctor, corsair, and more.
    • Magic items: Five new magic items, including the royal navy multi-tool.

This adventure helps build upon the fantastic area Ghosts of Saltmarsh has created and strengthens a campaign using that book, though it can be run as a one-shot as well.

The Serpentine Path - Tendrils of Saltmarsh Part 2

Gellan Primewater feels his enterprise may be in danger. He has sent his eldest daughter to investigate.

A local official has found a message in a wine bottle, a plea for help. Worried about affairs at the winery he wants the party to investigate and make sure nothing there is threatening.

This adventure is presented as APL 8 (adjustable) and is intended to fill a level gap left in the Ghosts of Saltmarsh hardcover book. It ties into several items found at the Haunted House and on the Sea Ghost and extends the lore of the area. This adventure takes 4 to 8 hours to play through.

    Inside you'll find:

    • Maps: Eight maps depicting different areas of the island and the large Priory of the Preeminent. There is also a map of the Empty Net in Saltmarsh.
    • Ship: Statblock for a new ship called a Cargo Schooner.
    • Creatures: Ten new creature statblocks.
    • Magic items: Eight new magic items

This adventure helps build upon the fantastic area Ghosts of Saltmarsh has created and strengthens a campaign using that book, though it can be run as a one-shot as well.

Pinnacle of Power - Tendrils of Saltmarsh Part 3

Manistrad Copperlocks and her dwarven crew have stumbled upon a secret beneath the mountain.

The dwarven miners have broken through into a underground river, but that's not what worries them. It's where it leads that has them concerned. They need a brave set of souls to investigate and see what is in store for Saltmarsh.

The adventurers venture deep into the underdark below Saltmarsh and uncover a dastardly yuan-ti plot. This adventure is presented as APL 10 (adjustable) and is intended to fill a level gap left in the Ghosts of Saltmarsh hardcover book. It ties into various Scarlet Brotherhood schemes around town and makes use of locations throughout Saltmarsh, such as the mine, the Wicker Goat, the Standing Stones, and more. This adventure takes 8 to 12 hours to play through.

    Inside you'll find:

    • Maps: Six maps depicting many underground areas near Saltmarsh, including the Coil of the Chosen, a giant yuan-ti ziggurat. There is also a map of the Wicker Goat and the Standing Stones in Saltmarsh.

The lockpicking skill is irrelevant. Only rogues take the skill. Rogues always maximize the skill. No other classes even bother looking at it. Out of combat, they take 20 and see if the DM has the Plot Lock engaged. In combat, they get to make one pass/fail roll and browse their phone for 10 minutes until the next turn. Do you want to miss out on a solution?

    For your consideration... the Simulockrum.

Imagine holding a small box in your hand and having eight lockpicks at your disposal. The party is depending on you to get that door open while they fend off the monsters. Starting with your favorite pick, you slide it into the keyway and hear the clicks of the magnetic pins and feel the vibration. From that, you deduce the first pin is likely positively oriented, then select the next likely lockpick to further narrow down the combination. Suddenly, the lock turns in your hand and the party is free!

    The device:
    - There are four locking pins that can be easily re-keyed into any one of sixteen possible combinations, so you can reset and present a new puzzle in seconds.
    - The Simulockrum is useful for streaming as well - all the player needs to do is randomize the locking pins on camera, then start working while the party tackles a timed encounter.
    - It has a visually impaired friendly design. Each lockpick has divots on the side corresponding to the magnet pattern.

How can you use it in a game?
    - Timed Challenge: Start the stopwatch on your phone and let the rogue pick the lock in real time. Roll a skill check and subtract that value from the number of seconds they took. For harder locks, halve the skill check. Easier locks, double the check.
    - Deductive Challenge: Roll a skill check. In D&D, if you roll in the 20s, you get two tries at the combination. If you roll in the 30s, you get to try three. Or you can use the number of successes in alternate game systems.

This lets ALL character classes attempt to pick a lock. The rogue is just better at it - both in real life and in game terms - but there's a one in sixteen chance the party tank picks the right lockpick on the first try. Cross training for lockpicking also matters for once!

I write digital gamebooks for 5e. They're similar to solo adventures of past editions, but updated to allow you to play in your browser. You can use any appropriately-leveled 5e character. The game handles telling the story, rolling enemy dice, and setting DC's for your actions.

    The Saint's Tomb

Jump into the life of a first level adventurer with an exploration of The Saint's Tomb. A notice, pinned to the wall of a temple, calls you to adventure "If you can defend yourself and wish to defend the cause of righteousness, please apply within." Will you explore the dangers of the saint's tomb and unravel the mysteries held within?

    A Miner Problem

Arriving in a small town in the mountains, you're hired to retrieve a crazed engineer who has barricaded himself in the gem mines of a powerful owner. The locals miners have their own views on how the mine is being run. You'll have to delve a bit deeper in this 2nd level adventure for one player.

    5e Arena

5e Arena is a pit-fighting game based on the rules of the RPG that's synonymous with fantasy adventure. Playing as a character between levels 1-5, you can choose the rank of competition, then battle against three foes back-to-back to win fame, gold, and perhaps more.

Trail of the Hungering Dead, an adventure for 14th-level characters, is now up on the DM's Guild.
I test-ran it here on the forums in a PBP game.

    Spoiler: description
    Show

Do you want your players to feel like they are in a zombie movie, struggling against a deadly horde that tries to surround them, overpower them, and bear them down to the ground to be devoured? This is an adventure that can threaten even the stoutest of characters, and is not recommended for parties of levels 12 or below unless they are larger than normal.

This module is designed to take 4-8 hours of play and cover a single day, depending on the party’s speed of play and how thoroughly they decide to explore. It includes suggestions and some plot hooks that can be used to tie this easily into a variety of long-running campaigns, or it can be run as an indepdent adventure.

The players will come upon a sacked town, figure out what happened, track an item whose theft has ominious implications for the region, and explore a partly-flooded old temple to end the threat.

It's primarily combat-focused, but there are a few areas where exploration and route choice makes a difference, as well as traps if the party goes for the optional temple treasury.

The antagonists in this module are mostly ghasts and ghouls, but the module title and cover page are deliberately selected to not spoil this. These are greater ghouls and ghasts that can challenge higher-level characters, backed up by mobs of lesser ghouls that can surround, paralyze, and devour the weak and unlucky, led by a Warlord who can disrupt the tactics of living foes.

I have been working on drivethru RPG for superhero based system that didn't go rules lite or differ too much from D&D 5e. This was the end result. Wanted to bring to the attention of the forum.

They are up in drivethrurpg. Search for "Heroes & Heels" or "Heroes" and "Heels" separately.
Also look up "D&d systems", "Core rules" "Quick Starts" and "Miscellaneous" plus "Superhero".

    Unfortunately, I can't post links.

The quick starts are free! You can do the closest thing to a Batman vs Superman clash on the free advanced quickstart.

    Default Manual of the Planes

Well, at long last I've actually gotten involved in a proper publication - no surprise, I should hope, at the topic. With a collection of talented writers from the Playground and beyond, I've had the good fortune to contribute material to the Manual of the Planes, a companion piece to the official Planescape setting that explores all the parts the main book does not. Featuring in-depth looks at the various planes, more planar monsters, and a bunch of adventure hooks and general DMing tips, if you're looking to run Planescape then this is worth checking out.

    Manual of the Planes

Need a place to hang? Like Discord? Don't mind dealing with a capricious demon lord? Then you're welcome to join our LGBTQ+ friendly, often silly, very geeky server to discuss food, music, video games, tabletop, and much more.

Manual of the Planes 5th Edition: for all the things the official 5E Planescape didn't cover. Check it out.
