Why isn't there a Plague Doctor archetype for the Ranger
Why isn't there a Plague Doctor archetype for the Ranger class?
I mean, it makes sense in a way. Plagues aren't always magical or supernatural, they can be sprung from tainted water sources, insects and rats, funguses, etc. It'd only be prudent that the more nature-savvy would be better suited for treating such ills.
Modify favored enemy so that instead of a creature, it's a negative condition, and you get bonuses to cure it with your heal skill, replace wild empathy with an ability which allows you to create diagnoses and begin possible treatments, so on and so forth.
Has anyone tried this before, or something like it?"My new favorite spell is Ice Knife, because it is a throwing knife made from ice, and a grenade."

No idea but as this is the hombrews section go ahead and make one or ask for one in the Request a Homebrew thread that is stickied in the first post.

P.E.A.C.H. Please Evaluate And Critique Honestly. Being nicer and kinder doesn't hurt either. Note I generally only critique 3.5 and Pathfinder material.
Please, please, please when using non-core material, cite to the books. There are too many books to wade through to find the one with the feat, special ability or spell you use.
