Germany, UK and France are siblings. U.S. is UK's child who moved with his uncle for a while after he had a fight with his father but now that he is settled on his own he has made up with his old man.

Re: Countries

Most of the Nordic countries have a bit of a reputation around here as being quasi-socialist, Denmark and Sweden primarily. I've been to Norway (loved it, except for the food) and Iceland (honestly not that much to do there).

Great Britain technically could be described as America's father. In which case, America ran away from home, we were estranged for a hundred years or so, during which we stole Britain's industrialism and made it better, then we became friends because of that damn Mexican-German-Japanese conspiracy.

France is somewhere in there, I guess.

Also, the AP Physics 1 test was today, and was surprisingly easy. (Of course now I am worried that they will curve it severely and actually I misunderstood everything and got a 1/5.)

Yes. Which is why I thought it an excellent idea to start learning the material 2⅟₂ weeks ago, rather than sleep through take the class. In the midst of concerts, and other upcoming deadlines. I have to say, I am not sure how they spread that little stuff into a full year course.

I want to go into detail on my views here, but that would be breaking board rules.

So instead, over the course of my childhood and adult life I've had experience of American, French, and German cultures, and the UK is far more like the latter two even if people don't want to admit it. I go to Germany and, despite barely speaking the language anymore, I understand a lot of things and find a lot of things to relate to (the same can be said of France). The times I've been to the US quite a bit of the culture has confused me, and I don't integrate quite as well.

Twice today I've gotten on an elevator only to immediately duck right back out because the people getting off it hit half the damn buttons in that car. Imean, even in a normal elevator setting that's a ridiculously childish thing to do, but who the hell does that in a hospital elevator? I swear, some people can be just so damn trashy.
