    Default Savaging the Library

So, this month, I've been running a 5e game at my library, and doing pretty well... though our kobold druid is not, shall we say, acting up to his character's wisdom.

Next month, I'm going to be running Savage Worlds (probably Explorer's edition, since I have a physical book for that, not just pdfs). Sign-up starts tomorrow.

But I don't have a scenario. I don't even have one in mind.

Anyone want to help out and suggest one?

    A few criteria:

    1) Free. You can point to me on the web or on DTRPG or wherever, but something I'm not gonna have to pay for.
    2) Minimal need for books OTHER than the Explorer's edition. A power or edge, some monsters included in the scenario are fine, but I want something basic that will be easy for others to engage with... and for me to run. If it's tied to a well-known setting, that's fine, but I might reject it if it's not well known to ME.
    3) Relatively short. Sessions are 3 hours long, once a week, for 4 weeks. First session is almost always entirely session 0 stuff... character creation, talking about mechanics, etc. I'd like something that can reach a reasonable conclusion in that time, since May is going to be a Hackmaster game (I am rewarding myself with Hackmaster).

If you also have a convenient cheat-sheet... a 1 page mechanics explainer for new folks... I would also like a link to that.

    Thanks.

There is a lot of very bizarre nonsense being talked on this forum. I shall now remain silent and logoff until my points are vindicated.

Small Deluxe Book or the old 2e version of Savage Worlds? Well either way the game is basically the same (though the shaken rules are pretty different now and only the newest edition SWADE handles all the knock-on effects from that).

PEG has plenty of one-sheets for free on their site

Or you can pick one of these two free test drives that includes all essential rules.

Someone pointed out when I posted on FB: Age.

The age is 13+; the program is billed as being for adults and teens, but it's also in a public library, so our rating limit is PG-13.
