Gekateki is a transhumanist. He believes that he can upgrade humanity into some better form, more efficient in some manner and will do anything for his goal. He is constantly seeking better ways to modify and upgrade himself biologically. He has distaste for the Senju limiting their medical knowledge to just healing people. She is okay with being referred by female or male gendered pronouns as he believes both apply to him/her.

Gekateki was born male, but always felt this was....limiting. Why only one? Why not both? They became a medical nin to explore what is possible with altering the human body to be better, starting off healing it as all medical nin do.

What happened after that is....unclear. But at some point they became a Jonin, the best medical nin in Konoha, succeeding the previous medical just master, a Senju. At some point they were given the allowance to pursue their research to enhance the human body but this was kept quiet if not secret.

During the Third Shinobi War, they served more in the lab and in the hospital than on the battlefield. While older than most and incredibly powerful, Gekateki Kaizen used the war to get the Third Hokage to fund his research more so as to enhance ninja rather than fight directly, more interested in what he can do to alter and enhance people than kill them, but not particularly caring about the morality of any of it.

When the Fourth Hokage came in, the funding didn't stop coming and they continued the experiments with new test subjects that she didn't care to ask questions where they came from. She was assigned to lead a Genin team, but this is no problem for Gekateki-just more assistants for their work, even if they have to more field research and testing than usual. He is particularly interested in Emi Azami and her goal to resurrect people, knowing it will be easy to influence her to persuade her into more transhumanist thoughts and help her seek the greatest work of their research: seeking immortality.

He has glands that he can activate to pump chemicals through his body to enhance herself. Examples include shutting off pain, temporarily enhancing speed, strength and so on.

Regeneration Organ: A-Rank
Stores up excess chakra from taking it from others or senjutsu to use to heal himself later. Has up to three regeneration surges per battle, which take time to refill. Once they are empty, he can't regenerate.

Mantis Sage Mode: A-S Rank
With his modifications, Kaizen turns into a mantis-human hybrid monster when going into sage mode, sharp mantis blades growing from her arms, hard chitinous carapace covering his body, and mantis wings growing from her back allowing her to fly.

Water, Earth and Wind Release: A-Rank
Gekateki Kaizen is highly skilled in all three releases and can use various just of those elements for various situations when they call for it. Has Water and Earth Clones, can travel underground, reshape the ground to his advantage,

Medical Jutsu: A-Rank
He is highly skilled in many arts of medical jutsu to enhance herself, allowing him to enhance his bodies in various ways. He can heal others but its not her main use for it.

Senjutsu: Mantis Wind Surgeon Blade S-Rank
Combines the surgical technique of medical jutsu with senjutsu and wind chakra to fire an incredibly sharp crescent blade of wind at someone.

She will pursue her leads until she can safely eliminate them as a possibility or they lead her to the truth. Arakawa in her youth idolized Uchiha investigators but in her adulthood feels some bitterness about the Uchiha's attitude towards her doing police work and suspects that she might've been reassigned to a jonin-sensei position to keep her from outshining Uchiha investigators. She finds her genin team to be the wrost bunch of brats she had the displeasure of working with, and grits her teeth knowing that she is supposed to set them straight.

Arakawa Inuzuka was born with a strong sense of justice, growing up reading Uchiha Noir novels. She was trained in being a tracker and her early C-rank missions in investigating and solving crimes she took to like water, and thus started to become focused on solving them throughout the land of fire.

However the war forced her into battle, but she didn't consider herself a soldier. She didn't like burning people or fighting people as one. She wanted to be a detective, to carry out justice not burn people or snap their necks. She had no choice however and had to fight to survive, even as she volunteered to work in reconnaissance to better use her tracking and information gathering skills instead of the main fighting.

When the war was over she gladly threw herself into investigating crimes. She became more famous for the deeds she did off the battlefield in peacetime than on it, where she had been just another soldier. Arakawa is known as a detective equal to the greatest Uchiha investigators, and has is seen as a hero throughout Fire Country. However recently she has been called back to the Leaf Village and ordered to train a team of dysfunctional genin: an arrogant Hatake, a mean orphan boy and this former popular girl Yamanaka. She is now frustrated that she been taken out of the field to do the Jonin equivalent of baby-sitting new ninja and wishes to get back to her real job.

The Relentless Hound of Justice:
She is known in the Land of Fire as a great detective and investigator who always tracks down criminals, solves cases, brings out the truth and makes sure the law is enforced. She has a hard-boiled gritty image similar to a private eye as a result. She is not well-known outside of her own nation however, and her willingness to turn down assassination jobs while bringing corruption and scams to light make her popular with the common people while making those in power fear her coming for them. She is thus also a master tracker.

Super-Senses: A-Rank
Arakawa has particularly sharp senses of smell and hearing, enhanced by constant chakra training, allowing her to pull of great feats of senses involving them but being particularly vulnerable to tactics attacking those senses at the same time.

Yang Release: Relentless Pursuit, A-Rank
Enhances her legs to run faster and longer, and her body to have more stamina, allowing her to pursue a criminal at a full run for far longer than most ninja, she can also apply it to her dog mount.

She knows various earth release techniques for containing and catching criminals, moving smoothly though the ground, walls to protect her allies, covering herself in armor of stone, and making muddy terrain to slow people down. As well as up to three Earth clones. Due to the nature of her job, tends to stay away from lethal techniques.

Dog Mount: Botora, A-Rank
Botora is Arakawa's giant husky-like mount that she rides around upon and follows her wherever she goes like any of the Inuzuka clan. Botora is a dangerous and highly skilled combatant due to his training with A-Rank Taijutsu but B-Rank Genjutsu Defense as its harder for him to train his resistance to Genjutsu due to being a dog.

Yang Release: Fang Over Fang Techniques: A-Rank
Knows clan techniques to transform her mount and attack people in drill attacks and even temporarily fuse with her mount for some attacks.

Nor does he particularly care about the collateral damage of his actions. He is loyal to Konohagakure and the Land of Fire but doesn't really care for its ideals. He is an alcoholic and smoker, losing himself in his addictions to escape from the realities of being a shinobi so he can continue telling himself that he is a heroic secret agent.

He acts as a corrupting mentor to Takano Honomi, teaching him how to pick up and manipulate women, all the wrong lessons about ninja life, and so on as a kind of twisted father figure.

Jemuzu Tsunagu: international man of mystery, a shinobi of the tuxedo and martini variety. His existence is seemingly in defiance of all conventional wisdom of how a shinobi should operate: he is not stealthy at all, he causes massive collateral damage while having long fights with speeding summons and carriages, known womanizer, hard drinker and stylish Jonin. But how did he come to be?

Well we know that he was born in Konohagakure, and we know that he was at some point offered a Toad Summoning contract by the sage before him. We know that he somehow at some point, achieved Sage Mode, and achieved Jonin status. We know that he was a flirt even when he was Genin during his Chuunin exams.

We also know that he has fought during the Third Shinobi War, but was seemingly mostly tied up in opposing either the Iwagakure ninja or the Kumogakure ninja and had no time to spend on the Sound Village. We know that he has mostly been fighting high level missing nin and the criminal and terrorist organizations after said war. He was most consistently fighting some missing nin known as Yurishizu. The exact details of all of these are behind censor bars for now.

Now he is teaching Takano Honomi, but his teachings aren't exactly ones anyone should follow...

My name is Tsunagu, Jemuzu Tsunagu....:
Jemuzu is a tuxedo-wearing, martini drinking, smoking, womanizing super-jonin who seems to live in his own little world of stylish action, not subtle at all methods of operation, explosions and other spy movie cliches. He will act like he is some secret agent form some glamorous life of foiling villains threatening the world and a skillset to match the stunts he does. In truth he is manipulative, sociopathic, misogynistic, racist and leaves women dead as often as he seduces them.

Fire and Water Release Techniques: A-Rank
Knows more fire and water release techniques, but all the water release techniques are alcohol themed.

Wind Release: Projectile Wind Shield A-Rank
Has the chakra control to project an invisible wind shield around him that blows incoming projects away from in a way that makes it look like they just missed, making it seem like he is incredibly lucky when he just has great chakra control and a technique only he knows. Fire release pierces the shield however.

Fire Release: Cigar Smokescreen, B-Rank
Can release a smokescreen from a cigar he is smoking to obscure himself or get away.

Water Release: Martini Assassination, B-rank
With a hand sign he turns the martini he is holding into a deadly sharp little disc that fires at his foe out of nowhere, works on other alcohol to.

Water Release: Drowning in Alcohol Assassination, C-Rank
Can force alcohol from a drink down someone's throat to drown them in their own beer.

Water Release: Beer Clone, A-Rank
Can creates up to four clones out of beer. The Beer can be set on fire with his fire jutsu

Toad Sage: A-rank
He can summon various frogs except a giant one, and as well as go into Sage Mode to enhance his abilities and sense chakra.

Frog Kata: C-Rank
Extends the range of his physical attacks and allows him to better evade attacks.

Building Explosion Seal: A-Rank
A seal set go off in five minutes or less, blows up an entire building while giving him just enough time to dramatically escape the scene as if he is some action hero outrunning the fireball.

Weaknesses:
-Women, his genjutsu defenses lower around them and he can be fooled by them more easily- but he doesn't go for underage women. He does have some standards.
-Drunkenness is not an advantage for him and impairs his judgment and abilities
-years of drinking and smoking have taken its toll on his health and he isn't as healthy as he should be, which can lead to all sorts of problems.
-He tends to cause massive collateral damage in the course of his missions, which can cause diplomatic incidents and headaches with his superiors.

first is Yes, more doggo noir but that works to, and I haven't watched Archer but I've read the tvtropes page and I'm going say "yes but without whatever redeeming qualities Archer supposedly has, this guy is meant to be villainous/antaognistic".

as for current arc: do you want more naturally play this out with you responding to however they respond to your backstory Rater, or do want this to transition into fighting them, because we're nearly done with investigation part the question is how do you want to play out and this could straight up just lead to them being revealed and getting to the fighting part of this next post, which would you prefer?

Re Archer: The obvious difference is that Sterling is heavily implied to be the ay he is due to a combination of Undiagnosed autism, his upbringing(Malory is abusive, neglectful, and narcissistic), childhood bullying(including one incident that left him hospitalized for a year) and the people around him are occasionally shown actively sabotaging his rare attempts to better himself or else using him as a convenient scapegoat for their own flaws.

The smell does indeed lead to the shrine. I intended for you to simply try the smell-tracking to find them after the first one failed, simply because I didn't want the efforts of Usagi to be useless because if I just let the first one lead straight to them, Usagi would be stuck listening to Yasutoki be on the wrong trail, so instead I did the river thing so you'd unite by investigating the second corpse found, but Senko ended up assuming it be consistent failure and thus now I have to think of ways for this to work better without making it look like I shut down a good way to find someone that could still work a second time, especially if there is little tools to use and thus would be stuck in the doldrums otherwise.

As for the Ameoku/Otokage Succession storyline, well.....lets break this down:
-if Sound village as system is supposed to be good guys, then logically Jirou's succession to be Otokage must be legitimate. otherwise its just thematically shooting itself in the foot, because the narrative we want to tell heavily features the politics of the shinobi nations, where war, revenge and seizing power by force are thematically evil due to the universe we are in. Now Jirou got to become his clan leader in a duel, but that can't always hold, that just his clan with old traditions dating back to the warring states era and ones he is changing, and for an entire village he can't do the same trick twice. A Kage's succession has never been decided by a duel, as its a much more important position, and really can't be since...its a system made by Hashirama, who was legitimately trying to make a more peaceful world. (also it would kind of make Naruto's journey just one of being a combat-monster if he could get it that way which stomps on what this universe is about- even when Naruto is a literal godlike being they still make him learn how to do paperwork and put Kakashi in charge before him.) So it has be a legitimate election, or at least some way nonviolent and reliant on the fact that he was chosen by the previous kage to be the next one. that all works.

-what we need to answer is how antagonistic Ameoku is. like, you have to answer what do you intend for her? y'know after this succession thing is done? is she supposed to be an anti-heroic ally like Mitsuko? if so, perhaps be more honorable/in the system about how she competes with Jirou for the position with no cheating involved. Mitsuko while she was holding to horrible traditions and an abusive mother, I'll point out is completely honorable about she goes about doing so: her loyalty to her clan will never make her turn against Jirou even if she'd prefer to be the leader, she honored the duel and its meaning and thus accepts her defeat and obeys Jirou simply because tradition dictates it. her loyalty to the clan doesn't go away because she lost and thus its a redeeming quality that allows her to keep living in it by serving the new leader even though she was the deposed former leader.

if you just want her and Jirou to fight, that can be thing separate from the election like after he wins she challenges him to a duel not for the position but to simply test whether he is strong enough to withstand a Jonin coming to kill him (because after the 2nd one just got killed by a Jonin level opponent, it'd make sense for her to question whether the 3rd Otokage can survive where Nozojo died) and using it as a political tool to call him weak afterwards if he loses the duel, and thus through a duel that has technically nothing to do with the kage position but is done in front of everyone after he had won that makes him look bad can more easily persuade people to try and legitimately oust him so they have to elect Ameoku instead in some emergency re-election thing in the Otogakure constitution when later down the road he has done more mistakes and can thus convince the clans to flip to her. and that political ploy simply backfires when he wins. its a political and kind of scummy plan but its all still technically within the rules that she could do. I get the feeling that due to her being Odayama's wife anti-heroic ally is probably what you intend since the alternative is:

that she is villainous, cheats the system and thus gets exposed by Mitsuko being the mole, thus proving that Jirou was right to try and redeem his mother, but also proving that Ameoku cares more about gaining power than actually being loyal to her village by holding to the system that constitutes it, thus prompting Jirou to have to punish her for breaking the rules of the village because he would win by default and if she fights him its as her essentially rage-lashing out over her loss. now we could come up with some sort of prison thing to put her in if we don't want her killed probably with some seal to shut off her chakra use until her sentence is served, or if she is too vital to the villages function for that, put a seal on her that Jirou would control and only he knows how to take off and thus could use it to paralyze her or something if she ever steps out of line again. there are more ways this can end than simply death, even if the worst happens.

Well.. I view her as a Kenpachi kind of character.
And she represnt the vengful side of Ottokagure. The people who have lost and sacrficed too much...
Also, as she was forged in the war, she doesn't believe in peace.
She believe peace soften and weaken.

I think she do have her own sense of honor.
She is "good sport".

I plan that the aftermath of Ottomaru's arc will put the village in great danger.

maybe yeah.

"Ok kid. Nice. All those nice people pity voted you. But can you survive?"

Also, even after Jirou win, she still can raise the tension, because she can subtly promote her idealogy, through alliances and all that.
On the near future, she is someone who push Jirou to prove his worth
on the long run, she always there. Waiting when sheet hit the fan. Always challenging him with more "gritty old school' ideas.

But maybe she also will change and could see the value in peace.

So... yeah. No full on villian, more of a Vegeta-Kenpachi. You probably want her on your side, but she is a pain in the as a lot of times.

The problem with Ameoku is that she doesn't seem to be...

You want her to be an aNti-Hero but she acts like a villain. She literally attacked Jirou in the middle of the street.

And she wants to throw the village into a war that it can't possibly win for... Reasons?

honestly, if you want her to be an anti-hero, the best way to do so would be for her to get some Therapy-no-Jutsu.

You know, that thing where Naruto beats the crap out of the bad guy and then the bad guy spontaneously rethinks things and undergoes character development.

As for war- few reason- vengance is one, but not the main one.
She believe, peace, corrupt. Make people weak, War is the natural state for ninjas warriors. And no hope of winning.. well, it depend on the definiation of victory.
And alliances could take you a long way.

But maybe this type of character work in actual manga, and not in roleplays..

Yeah the plot isn't the problem, the plot is kind of vital and throwing it out is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. responding to critiquing one detail with "well just get rid of the whole thing" is just wasteful, Igor.

Here is the thing about Vegeta and Kenpachi that you seem to don't understand: they don't actually care about war.....they care about fighting. As in personally. Because its fun to them, personally. They don't give a rat's behind about politics or making others stronger through vague idea of war making them stronger- they just want to fight because they personally like it, and don't really try to force entire nations into a war just so they can get their own fighting thrills. Vegeta likes fighting because its a personal thrill to him. Kenpachi likes fighting because its a personal thrill to him. a war? thats impersonal. they don't care if others die or live in some other fight, they care about their own personal fights and the feelings that it gives them. the reason they can be anti-heroes is because they keep their blood knight desires personal and don't try to force everyone else into it- when you have someone trying to cause war or force people into fighting for their own enjoyment, you get villains like Cell, or Blizzan or Khorne Berzerkers. Vegeta and Kenpachi work because they only care about their personal desire of fighting and thus can be directed by other people who care about the wider picture to benefit that picture: Kenpachi by Soul Society to defend it or Vegeta by Earth. neither of them harbor ambitions to take over their places and rule themselves to make things descend into fighting, they don't think on that large a scale, they only want they want for themselves.

Ameoku breaks the delicate balance the blood knight trope runs on by having a wider political agenda. the entire point of such characters is they care so much about fighting and so little else that they can't even be bothered to think politically to turn the environment of the world to their advantage so they just wait around bored until one falls into their lap or they get sent on a mission that allows them to cut loose. once they start thinking about ruling, then you just have a villainous warmonger. Vegeta started out villainous as well so Ameoku if you really intend her to not be a villain, simply doesn't have to be one permanently. you don't have to emulate such characters exactly, but I'm just saying the archetype your drawing upon when they work has a certain rules that make them work and you seem to not grasp what those rules are, so I'm teaching what they are so you can do the archetype better.- or decide to do something different.

If you want her to be like Vegeta, it should be less a duel with Jirou and more a climactic fight with a good number of the PCs giving it all they've got.

Given her temper, maybe she loses fair and square and she's the one who challenges Jirou or just felt out tries to launch a coup?

Or, since Senko has made herself a political figure by publically declaring herself the Snake Sage and then crediting all of her accomplishments to Jirou's tutelage, maybe the kitty will decide that the appropriate response is to negate Senko's accomplishments by pointing out that she's still ultimately just a genin...

and Senko would probably react very bluntly, or even just flat-out antagonizing Ameoku because Senko doesn't really like or respect Ameoku. Everything Senko's learned about her paints a picture of someone who is utterly unlikable from Senko's perspective, which could lead to a fight.

And if Ameoku loses to a bunch of genin who have never know war... That would basically guarantee she loses th election as the Kage is supposed to be the strongest and that would throw her claim into question. It might also result in her rethinking her philosophy.

well you should've mentioned the missing nin earlier, silly.

and while its clear that Rater wants to fight Ameoku, I don't particularly care either way. Kimiko's journey doesn't really rely on facing anyone specific or trying to solve any specific external problem. Maybe work something out between Senko and Ameoku there?

also I'd recommended planning for scenarios over planning for specific characters for specific people in GMing, igor. because you can't really predict how players will react to a specific character. Rater has an understandable reaction of seeing Ottomaru as a misguided victim and Ameoku a villain thats need some sense knocked into her. I don't know how many people would share this reaction, its hard to judge when you only have an audience of two and I tend to withhold judgment until I get a sense of where someone's going with a character or someone tells me their intentions.

(and generally I noticed a tendency in Rater is that you have be very careful in portraying authority figures when playing with Rater because he has higher standards for doing it right than most, as most people will take an authority figure that isn't outright evil in a roleplay with either polite calmness or irreverence, Rater and his characters seems unremittingly critical of any flaw he finds, thats just what I observe and remember of him and if I'm wrong or something he is free to tell me otherwise.)

Rater is one third of us here and you should take into account what he wants to do in some manner, at least offer a chance to get what he desires. at least give him a chance to redeem Ottomaru or something. Kimiko might be a bit disappointed she won't get the glory of killing him but that is secondary to knowledge and science.

I'm naturally critical of authority becuase I have encountered a lot of people who failed to even try to uphold their responsibilities, and honestly, I strongly dislike having people above me if I don't have th means to hold them accountable. This tends to bleed into most of my characters to some degree or other.

Fighting Ameoku was just a suggestion, and the fact that Senko sees Ottomaru as a victim can be a point of contention between her and Kimiko. Could spark some interesting conversations.

Notably, why she's willing to kill Yu but not Ottomaru.

You'll notice that a lot of my characters are either people who want to change the current system or else divorce themselves from it entirely.

Like, we even talked about it in your Exalted Essence thread: My ideal character is an adolescent Infernal who has suffered personally because of the corruption of some being and she either wants to live in her fortified compound with her cult or burn the world down so that something else can be built in its place.

Speaking of characters: Since Senko's hometown was on the border, it's probable that some of the survivors emigrated to th land of fire.

An interesting complication might be if an older child from the village ended up in the Leaf village and became a ninja and when Team 3 gets to the Chunin exams he recognizes Senko as the little monster that ruined his life a few years ago.

Obviously, he can't just kill her, a genin dying during the exams due to accidents or complications is one thing, but a host ninja murdering a genin outside of the exams proper would cause an intention incident, and he's not participating in the exams himself—I'm thinking he's a chunin—but that doesn't mean he can't try to subtly sabotage her.

...I have the mental image of Senko successfully managing to steal a sample from Hashirama's body only to be framed for stealing the Forbidden scroll of Seals("Oh come on!"), but that would probably put things really far of the rails and derail whatever is it you have planned.

as for derailing, I'm trying to plan for scenarios not for any particular way for things to go? after the Burnout Saga in DBitp I kinda......stopped trying to do that. and I'm trying to be more logical and.....sedate for this roleplay as its more about sneaky ninja types. the crazy [S] Descend type stuff of DBitp was to capture a more destructive high-action anime feel and style and getting people pumped for a sudden descent into chaos. for this, I'm thinking more cerebrally.

and for this arc in particular you have to understand: there are 42 named genin. most of which are my own creation. add in the Jonin, any potential clan leaders and clan members I have to roleplay, plus the Hokage. Who has to do the unenviable job of being a BBEG villain. in a roleplay. that survives past the first encounter with the heroes. so basically it means he is freaking untouchable and if you directly challenge him I am contractually obligated to demonstrate how far out of your league you are and hand you a humiliating defeat.

so. its like. plan? what plan? I have 38 genin and more with their own motivations, goals and hangups to play out. There is no plan. no plot. There is only me, presenting you and Igor a sampling of the shinobi nations and what you might encounter, and waiting to see what characters you go for, what dominoes you push over, purposefully or accidentally. my plan is mostly for Kimiko to talk to a girl, then face another girl, maybe face a third girl. beyond that, its a lot of "a lot of genin will try to do things, will they succeed? who knows." things might or might not happen, the scenario is "The Chuunin Exams are happening at the place with your enemies who like are richer and believe they are right to be this superpower and interfering with other peoples business. an environment of people not trusting you. good luck." whatever you will do, will be the plot for all intents and purposes, if certain things happen because of your actions missing-nin might show up to bail you out worst case scenario, but we'll burn that bridge if/when get to it.

but the real funny thing is? I keep coming up with backup genin concepts that I'm putting on reserve simply because its already complicated enough. and some of those are just "Second best/One Year older" clones of various clan people if you actually go through with your kidnapping plan or if they otherwise die or leave Konoha village at some point, but not the same for any clanless underdogs, who'd probably get replaced by clan ninja or by random clanless who are nothing like them. so your character would fit right in with those reserves. keep the idea/character on the backburner, might be useful someday.

also I'm coming up with new dojutsu all of a sudden but have little idea where to put them geographically/clanistically.

I mean, to be fair, hwhat I'm planning is already complicated enough as it is.

There's Senko discretely collecting samples—and I'm thinking she's going to end up with samples from all the characters I introduce regardless of how things go because for at least some of them that was the initial reason for making the characters, though I didn't want to just make idispoasable power ups—plus the fact that Gohan and Hamura both feel a lot of pressure due to expectations put upon them and how they deal with it—I've mentioned both the possibility that Gohan is being groomed to become the NExt Four-Tails Jinchuriki since he's already compatible with the chakra, and that homura is just expected to eventually develop Dust Release since she has the specific variation of Lava Release that Onooki's family has in canon and I'm certain there's a connection.

Then there's kidnadopting the Nine-Tails and/or anyone else we think would be happier in the sound village if that even becomes viable...

and the whole point of my team with Fudo, Benjirou, and Shirako—is that none of them have any particular love for the Leaf Village, for various reasons, and could be convinced to try and defect.

And honestly, Senko's desire to try and recreate the power of the Sage of Six Paths, which here is just sort of something she stumbled into just now as part of her desire to make a more peaceful world and her desire to be a masterful sage, to see how true the old legends are may cause issues with the Rain Village team if it comes up.

Or you know, just in general.

And the conflict when it inevitably gets out that a ten-year-old who didn't even formally attend a ninja academy is the one who stole the Snake Summoning contract and became the Snake Sage.

I have seen this fanart
that made imagine some uncle of Kimiko who became a missing nin yakuza or remained loyal to the mist.

Looks more like a kiri loyalist in general if you go that route, mostly because her family doesn't have blue skin, they have blue hair and second, Yagura is a hardline genetic equalist so any family member that remained loyal would have to not have the kekkei genkai. Yagura's entire selling point, his pitch is "hey wouldn't it be great if we lived in a world without these kekkei genkai jerks screwing things up for everyone else and everything was more equal?" its just that well he went full Peoples Republic of Tyranny/The Revolution Will Not be Civilized/Amon about it. I imagine the current official name of the Land of Water is "Democratic Republic of Water" or something like that.

as for yakuza, sure if you can figure out how they got into it. the main thing about the Ishikawa Clan is that they suffered huge losses getting out of the Land of Water and fighting for Otogakure in the war, so however they got that way, the character probably thought to have been died to become a missing nin. lots of opportunity there.

and yeah, lots of potential with Senko's actions all by themselves. lots of potential. not sure what towards, but potential.

Well I believe it was that we do the whole thing finishing up the thing with Ottomaru and Ameoku that then goes into the Exams, because I recall Igor saying something about facing a mini-Exam to even be sent by facing other Sound Genin, but you might've wanted to do another mission before all that where we go find this mutated plant with tailed beast chakra in it when Kimiko has equipment to detect chakra invented after this mission? do you still want to do that?
