It does not, but it does seem to be stabilizing and not increasing at this point.

I press six more of the new runes to be sure.

The water pressure isn't decreasing or increasing? And nothing else of note is happening?

And is there any sound when I press the new runes?

(Roll an athletics check to swim, to see if you can press all in time. Every interval of 3 is a rune pressed in time, so 1-3 is 1 rune, 4-6 is two, and so on.)

The pressure holds stable at it's current level. You swim up to a rune and press it, it begins to glow. There is no sound as you press the first rune. You begin to swim to the next rune, and ...

(I won't count it as a critical fail at least?)

You manage to hit two runes quickly before moving in the highly pressurized environment exhausts you. After a time the runes fade out.

    (Thanks.)

Nothing of note happens apart from the runes briefly glowing? The pressure stays the same, and there's no sounds?

As a last experiment I go to press one of the runes I already pressed, just to see if they're completely inert or not.

(Sorry for the delay, been a crazy week. I've tweaked this part of the dungeon given this play testing, so I'm going to move you past it.)

You swim around and touch a rune that you had previously touched. It glows again, but this time in a slightly different hue of light. Rather than the soft white, it now glows a soft blue. You remember the other blue runes, and swim around to tap each of them. As you do, the door you entered through slams open into the room. The water rushes into the hall.

You say the door I entered through is open. Do I see any way forward?

Edit: Or get washed towards any way forward, to judge by that roll?

The current of the water is so strong, it sweeps you back down the hall you came from. You are deposited about halfway down the hall before you can fight the strength of the current. The water rushes past you, to the far end of this hall. In a matter of minutes it is drained, and oddly the stone appears damp but not wet. There is no standing water, as if the stone itself absorbed it. You hear a loud thud in the distance, seemingly coming from the room you were just in. As you look the room in front of you is filled with a blue light that fades as you watch. You are plunged back into the soft orange-white low light around you.

As you walk in, you see the far door is now open. You search around the room, and don't find anything else that seems to be the source of the noise.

Beyond the door the path leads upwards. It is about 15' until it seems to crest.

As you begin to crest the hill, you see water. As you stand on top of the hill, all you can see is a 5' pool of water. Peering into it with the limited light you have surrounding you, you can see the bottom. It slopes downward steeply for at least 15'. Beyond that the water has diffused your light too much to be able to clearly see from your vantage point.

I walk right up to the edge. Is the surface entirely still, or is there something disrupting it? And can I see the bottom from that point?

You take a few steps forward, but the view doesn't change much. You think you make out the floor flattening out beyond the original 15', but you can't quite be sure. The water appears calm.

As you ease into the water, your feet hit solid ground with your head still above. You gently let yourself slide down the ramp like edge. As you submerge yourself in the water, the light around you seems to project further. You can't see much more than a few feet ahead because of the rocks above and in front of you. You notice there is plenty of room to turn and twist here, so you swim to have your head facing forward. As you do, you can easily see the bottom of the ramp and where it opens into a room. You swim forward and see the large, completely submerged, room is 20'x20'. The light easily lights the entire space. There are a few dark spots on each wall, as if they extend beyond the reach of the light. There are 3 spots on the North wall, 2 on the East, 4 on the South, and you seem to be entering from the West and unable to see the wall. (You don't know the cardinal directions as a character, but it'll make it easier to discuss your actions with them.)

As you swim over, you can feel a slight current pushing away from the south wall. As you investigate the darkened area, you can see it goes back into the wall a few feet before stopping. You can feel a slight jet-like current pushing towards you.

I look at the other three darkened areas on the southern wall, moving from west to east. Do I feel the same current from all of them? And do they all eventually lead to dead ends?

They all eventually lead to dead ends. Although only the two outermost areas seem to have the jet sensation. The other two seem to just exist. As you look around, you can see that the East wall mirrors the West wall you saw earlier, with your incoming passage being a darkened area.

Another dead end. Although this one is about 10' long. Luckily you can see the back before you start swimming into it.

I go back out into the main area.

Are there passages in the west wall to the right of the one I just took? If so, I swim into the rightmost one, and if that's a dead end I try any others to the right of the one I just took.

You were at the east wall, there are passages to your left, more North. Did you want to swim back to the West wall, where you came from? There are darkened areas on that wall, all to your right (the north).
