    Alessia nods, deep in thought. "Agreed. Though for an operation like this, conventional wisdom is to keep someone out of the fire. A backup spotter who can relay information to the team." She rummages in her belt pouch and pulls out two small, smooth stones. Each stone has a rune carved into it which looks to be Throki's work.

    "These'll keep me in contact with you. In your ear, like this," she sticks one of the stones in her own ear. "That way, if things get hairy inside - no pun intended - you can call for me. And if something starts to happen outside, I can give you both forewarning."

    Marce grabs the stone and puts it in his ear. As he does so, he thinks back to when he and Jimothy prepared his spells that day, reviewing what he had available.

    Alessia nods. "Yep. At least I think so. I'm no mage. You can also turn it on to constant, but it'll drain quicker. If you're in a situation where touching your ear and whispering would be conspicuous, that's what you should be doing while you're in the club. I'll be able to hear everything, but I won't be able to talk back. Two-way it'll last forever. Keeping it in send will only last you five minutes or so."

    After answering any more questions the two have about the earpieces, Alessia is happy to move on to Howl's.

    ”So, what do we know about Howl’s? They stage monster pit fights, so they have monsters on premises they can loose on us in a pinch. And if they can buy monsters for pit fighting, they can buy monsters for security work. Do we know anything else?”

    Having been in Almas for a couple days, Marce has heard surprisingly little about Howl's. He knows that the club is only legal in the strictest sense of the law, and that Freyr does brisk business paying off the local constabulary to keep it so. That being said, the law stays out of his business, allowing most scuffles and fights to be resolved by his extremely capable personal security forces. He heard about one fight in the time he's been here. A Harpy vs a Minotaur. It was apparently a very close match and resulted in an inordinate number of collateral deaths.
