Coriolis - The Third Horizon OOC
Hello and welcome to the OOC!
Please post your charactersheet here as well as a choice of speech color.
Keep all dice rolls to the OOC or in a spoiler in the IC if we are talking combat and such likewise ease-of-expediency.
I'll post the Ship sheet here, along with any noteworthy things, such as current debt and stuff like that.
GM Darkness Points: 3
Spoiler: Ship Sheet
Core Info
Spoiler
Name:The Silent Harkhan.
Class & Type: Class III - Modular Salvage Hauler.
Shipyard: Halgria.
Problem: Eccentric Ship Intelligence.
Requires the feature Ship Intelligence. When the problem is activated, the intelligence will refuse to perform a specific task and instead begin to protest loudly over the ship’s intercom. The effect lasts during a combat encounter, or a few hours.
Debt: 1.895.000 Birr.

Modules
Spoiler
(X) = Disabled
Max Number of Non-Core Modules: 13 (13 used)
-------------
Bridge, Core (O)
The bridge is the brain of the ship, housing the stations of the captain, the pilot and the sensor operator. Sensors and propulsion are controlled from the bridge, and from here, you can gaze out into the Dark between the Stars. On small ships, the bridge is called a cockpit.
Reactor, Core (O)
Almost all ships in the Third Horizon use hydrogen based fusion reactors to power their engines. Each ship class has its own reactor size. There are features that increase reactor output.
Graviton Projector, Core (O)
A large generator and an exhaust system, ejecting gravitons that push against nearby gravity fields, thus propelling the spaceship forward. The graviton flow can be directed in different directions, enabling the ship to maneuver. The exhaust stream can cause gravitational phenomena – the gravity closest to the projector exhaust is severely increased, followed by dangerously violent shifts in the gravity farther away. The area around a craft about to take off is generally cleared out in advance, and the pilot will slowly turn up the projector’s effect. The graviton projector is generally located at the rear of a ship.
2x Cabins, Standard - 8 Capacity (O)
Cabins for crew or passengers. The passenger capacity depends on the type of accommodation, but also means different levels of comfort – and in turn what kinds of people might see the ship as a viable mode of transportation.
Standard: Personal cabins of about 3x2 meters. Each cabin has a bed and a hygiene unit. The module contains a shared small recreational space with a table and chairs.
Cargo Hold (O)
The area has atmosphere and climate control systems for the cargo to survive the journey. Is able to hold p to 50 Tons of Cargo.
Docking Station (O)
The ship has a docking hatch and extendable tunnel that enables you to dock with other ships. The station includes an airlock that can perform rudimentary decontamination of visitors and foreign objects. A ship without a docking station must land inside a hangar, or let smaller ships into its own hangar, for the crew to enter or exit the ship.
Escape Pods (2 Pods, room for 4 people in each) (O)
These “lifeboats” allows the crew of a doomed ship to escape certain death. Activating a pod is a normal action. The pods contain oxygen and supplies for a week, and are sometimes equipped with exo shells, medicines and other useful items. An emergency transmitter is installed in every pod, but they lack any means of propulsion.
Medlab (O)
The medlab is a module used when treating wounds. Grants +3 to Medicurgy Skill Tests to give first-aid, stabilize deadly Critical Injuries, etc.
Salvage Station (O)
To be able to salvage wrecks and space junk, you will need lots of empty space, a system of derricks, some mechanized grabber arms and a good hull cutter. The salvage module can be used to salvage debris or ships up to one class below that of your own ship.
Service Station (O)
The service station is a non-pressurized cargo unit loaded with whatever the ship might need in terms of repairs. The module aids the engineer with repairs during travel. Crews that travel far across the stars would do well to keep a fully stocked service station on their ship. Read more in the sections Service & Maintenance and Ship Combat.
Stasis Hold (16 available cryobeds) (A)
The stasis hold contains beds for cryogenic sleep. Without stasis, portal jumps are basically suicide, or at the very least a one-way ticket to chronic hyper madness. Stasis is sometimes also used during long interplanetary trips. Ships with a destination several jumps away usually won’t wake passengers or non-essential crew until after the final jump is completed. Size III Vessel Stasis Holds can hold up to 16 people in cryostasis at the time.
Workshop (O)
This module is a complete workshop for making repairs onboard. The module gives a +1 to all technology rolls, including repairs of the ship itself. The workshop can only be used for repairs of up to Ordinary level equipment.
Features
Spoiler
Ship Intelligence (A)
The ship’s main computer is very capable and verbal. It can perform any function on the ship with a 1 in the attribute and a 3 in the skill relevant for that function. It can perform only one function at a time, cannot replace more than one crew member at a time, and cannot help (page 58) crew members with their rolls. Some ship intelligences become eccentric over the years, acting erratically and refusing to carry out certain commands.
Ship System - Engineer (A)
One crew position on the ship is replaced by a dedicated computer system. The system has a 3 in both the attribute and the skill relevant to the position. More than one ship system can be installed – all crew positions can be automated except for the captain.
Stealth Technology (A)
The ship is fitted with the latest in high absorbent duraceramics and zero-signature radiation shields. Gives -1 to Signature. The ship can disappear during combat (page 169).

This Year's Monthly (5%) Payments = 93.750 Birr.
Each Year the percentage will be re-evaluated and redone to fit the next year's remaining debt.
Last thing we need to do is to choose which of the following people is your Patron (aka. who gave the ship to you lot and is taking the payments for it), as well as who is your nemesis (aka. who actively seeks to ruin your day and generally be the 'behind the shadows' type of grand villain.
◆Your Patron, Doctor Wana (the Foundation’s Archaeological Institute). An unconventional archaeologist, happy to get her hands dirty searching for findings in the sector of the Lady of Tears.
She is the one to finance your ship and is the primary go-to person for the more bogstandard contracts of work. She is quite fair with her dealings and from experience up until now, Doctor Wana haven't broken a promise or gone back on a deal.
◆Your Nemesis, Drefusol Amadi (Free News). A media mogul with the ambition to reach places even the Bulletin cannot.
This guy, oooooh, this guy. He seems to have it out for you lot. The specific reason is unsure, although you can all pretty much guess it's got something to do with Doctor Wana, and the fact you all took her deal with the ship financing and 'becoming her minions', so to speak.

Re: Coriolis - The Third Horizon OOC
Spoiler: Ramad
Spoiler: Base Info
Name: Ramad
Face: Masculine and built like a **** brickhouse with a short, full beard. Starting to show signs of age and is marked by pretty nasty scars. Stern, piercing gaze – both light gray in color with one of them having a very discreet color difference due to the right one being a cybernetic eye. All hair a dull gray color. As a humanite, his face has taken on inhuman traits. His nose is flat, not far from being just two slits, and the bridge would be quite flat as well if it didn't show clear signs of being broken in the past – a couple of times, probably. His mouth looks like it might have tried to form into some kind of a muzzle, but the more human bone structure underneath didn't allow for it, leaving him with a slight cleft on the middle of his upper lip and long, droopy corners of his mouth in a permanent, exaggerated frown. Does not have fur, but all of his normal human peach fuzz has a noticeable gray tint to it, kind of giving him a weird gray sheen. Gill slits on both sides of his neck.
Clothing: Flight suit in a boring grayish green color, one piece suit. Looks pretty old and patched, and not very clean. Wide, brown dupatta worn over head and lower face, usually.
Background: Plebeian / Kua / Firstcome (Humanite, Nerid)
Icon: The Dancer
Concept: Pilot
Group Concept: Explorers (Salvaging Crew)
Personal Problem: Very much doesn't like humanite racism. Speciesism? Something like that. And by very much not liking it I mean he really has to try his best to not do something stupid when he hears something.
Experience: 0/10
Spoiler: Relationships
Akila: The Captain. Ramad respects that position and listen to her without question – usually – though is willing to offer his own thoughts on the matter, if she takes them. Off-duty, finds her difficult to hang around with, as she just feels a bit on the edge all the time.
Damis: The Doctor. Smart guy, smarter than Ramad, for sure. Appreciates his views on equality, though might start consider him to just be naïve if he learns more about Damis' background. Doesn't appreciate his drunk side. Closest to best buddy status.
Fahim: The Engineer. Seems a bit fidgety and, well, off, but has never said anything particularly bad to his face despite jumping every single time he sees the humanite. Likes tinkering with machines, Ramad likes tinkering with machines, it's good. Maybe a bit too set in his ways, becomes more of a liability when crap hits the fan and all plans are out the window.

Spoiler: Background
Ramad was born into a life of servitude under a rich Zenithian who had seemed to come to the conclusion that the road to success involved taking advantage of the many rivers of Kua with a workforce consisting of free labor. Deep, treacherous and murky waters with dangerous beasts lurking within were much too risky for anything else, after all – it didn't cost that much to lose a humanite or two once in a while, compared to humans or other equipment. Ramad didn't really have a time for a childhood, starting to work as soon as he was able. He never received any kind of education, only taught the ways of "the world" that were supposed to keep him subservient.
It never did feel right, how they were treated. How breathing, feeling beings like them slaved away, getting injured and even killed for no gain. Perhaps they were fed to be kept alive, but they did not receive any protection from anyone other than themselves. Ramad was one who quickly took on a weapon when he was old enough to do so, even if what their people could do were only the most primitive of tools on their own. A life that would have killed him young, had it continued.
To say that it ended with a bang and a fight that earned them their freedom would be glorious, but it was not the truth. It ended with a whimper when their master sold his rights to another, and he no longer had a need for the Nerids he had kept. Just like that, they were free. Free with nothing and having to leave what they had called a home for so long – in fact, they had to leave quite fast to make sure someone else didn't come to enslave them again just after they had gained their freedom…
Most of the humanites stayed together to build their own village, but plenty of them left for greener pastures. Ramad was one of the plucky youths, convinced that something great was waiting for him now that he was finally free. Unfortunately, things weren't quite that simple. It was not just a single person that had been against him and his kind, it was… Pretty much everyone. It was a dark time in his life, one that filled him with hatred.
Luckily, there were also plenty of other freaks – human or not – who did not care what he was, but what he could do.
Ramad couldn't do much, but at least he could fight a little. Gain some mass, be useful around a spaceship, haul things. Things that weren't entirely legal, but what did he care. He wasn't too picky about jobs, it was great experience. Him piloting for the first time was not something that anyone thought was going to happen, but once he started to pick up the controls… Well, turned out that someone who had been swimming for almost their entire life had a pretty good grasp in how to move in three dimensions.
It was the spark that really brought him alive. Finally something he truly enjoyed and wanted to perfect. He trained, took whatever jobs he could, got better. Wasn't just piloting he started to pick up on, either. First he got interested in the inner workings of ships and other vehicles, then he started to get interested in how many other pieces of technology were made, and, well, he hasn't stopped yet.
Even now, years later, it's what he enjoys.
Used up last of my birr to get myself a tag.
Damis should shift his tech point into data djinn if he wanted to do sensors and our robo-buddy should not be sensors if Damis does that. Back into gunner?
Also! Akila has that family member on board, right? Maybe we should get more information on them, as we kinda live on the same ship and all.Last edited by Parlortricks; 2019-05-03 at 03:06 PM.

Spoiler: Background
Akila never much cared for religion, at least not the Martyr's way, she could talk the talk and motion through the actions, endure the righteous flagellation, but she secretly hated all the inhumanities caused in the name of religion in Zalos. Her own faith was quieter, more flexible. Like the Dancer she was born under she flitted between hard and soft, cold and passionate, hidden and visible. She moved cautiously and found some like minded individuals, built a bit of a network. Found she had a knack for getting forbidden items into places they could bring a tidy profit.
Eventually, it had to happen, someone was less trustworthy than she thought, sold her out. It was the excuse she needed to get out of Zalos and somewhere she could practice in peace, maybe even go legit.
She's trying to go as straight as she can, picked up a ship, found some people she can work with. A perpetual thorn in her side is that however good she is at reading people, her niece's attitude is a mystery to her.
Spoiler: Tabitha, teenager
Name: Tabitha Al-Fakhitah
Face: Wide-eyed and Curious
Clothing: Ill-fitting
Background: Stationary; Zalos; Firstcome
Concept: Awkward, tiresome teen
Personal Problem: Been dragged halfway across the galaxy by her eccentric aunt.
Tabitha is 14, her parents died in service of the Martyr and she's been stuck with Akila since.
She in part resents Akila for pulling her away from everything she knows as part of her escape from her old life. She also has her silent reservations as to whether Akila had anything to do with her parent's deaths. However another part of her is intrigued by life outside the Zalos system, allowing for more freedom of expression and exploring parts of herself that she would not be able to under their watchful eye.
Skills
It seems gauche to give her any useful skills, when she's supposed to be a problem. Her parents were no-one especially special, workers in a factory or office that suffered a terrorist/rebel attack, she's been keen on learning about other cultures & technoligies, so is likely working towards Culture and Data Djinn as skills, but likely not to useful levels yet.

Re: Coriolis - The Third Horizon OOC
I thought for a second they were the same skill, corrected.
Anyway, one vote for Wana as patron for the kind of shenanigans we can get up to.
Spoiler: Damis
Spoiler: Base Info
Name: Damis
Face: Soft features that never the less rest at a frown. A few tell-tale scars from bog-pox exposure
Clothing: White coat with emblems near the shoulder with the icon of an organization of clinics, sturdy work pants and water-proof boots
Background: Privileged (Kua)
Icon: THE FACELESS (NO SYMBOL): The seeker among the Icons is never
pictured. In temples and on Icon walls there is instead an empty place
or alcove, or an asymmetry in the placement of the other Icons.
Damis, sober, is something of an idealist about equality, improving lives, all the causes that were popular among his generation. He's slightly neurotic and does not like being questioned on his expertise. Then there's the Kohol. It doesn't help those flaws when he's gone some time without indulging, manifesting sometimes in minor paranoia. He tells stories, more taken to emotion, nothing too awful when indulging.
Concept: Scientist - Medicurg
Group Concept: Salvagers of Loot and Info
Personal Problem: You just can’t stay off the kohôl. It makes you impulsive and erratic.
Experience: 0/10
Spoiler: Relationships
Akila: While good in conversation, can't help but think there's a frightening amount of political intellegence she's not using at any given time.
Barika: Straightforward, and appears professional. Considers him a colleague in this adventure
Dhar: Reminds him of a difficult patient, resulting in treating him with a paternalist attitude that probably doesn't help.
Ramad: At arms-length. Seems to want to be left alone, and, without recognizing his own bias, medical knowledge results in potentially thinking or saying some inappropriate things.

Field Medicurg
You know the delicate art of stopping a bleeding wound or
treating grave injuries. You get a +2 to medicurgy when
treating someone who is about to die from a critical injury.
The talent has no effect on stress.
THE FACELESS ONE’S TALENT
Fate is on your side, giving you the benefit of getting to
change a single, concrete detail in a scene more to your
favor. It must be something that has a cosmetic or indirectly
helpful effect – you cannot make an enemy disappear, but
you can decide that there is a knife within reach, or that a
window has been left open. The GM has final say on what
is possible to accomplish with the talent. Remember, you
can only use the talent once per session.

Long range Communicator III (O): Communicator for long distances, up to 100 kilometers. Usually handheld. This is a light item.
Portable Laboratory (O): A portable lab unit that can be used for most analyses. Comes with bio, rad, chem and spectral sensors. Gives a +2 to science when analyzing foreign substances and objects. This is a heavy item.
Exo Shell (O): A shell suit to protect the wearer in vacuum and other dangerous situations. Contains oxygen for eight hours and vacuum soles that stick to level surfaces such as ship hulls. Provides a little protection against external violence (Armor 2) but is difficult to move around in (-2 to dexterity).
Medkit (O): Ordinary bag of medicurgical supplies for treating wounds, poisonings, radiation damage or severe illness. Contains a diagnostic unit, suture gun, pneumatic needles, bandages and other basic gear, as well as 10 m-doses. The medkit gives a +2 to medicurgy. Bonuses from medical equipment do not stack – use only the highest bonus. This is a Normal-Weighted Item.
COMPASS (P): Gives a +1 to survival when orientating in difficult terrain – if the local magnetic fields allows it. The compass comes with a built-in altimeter to help when traveling through hills and mountains. This is a Tiny Item.

Being a second son never disappointed Damis or set him towards jealousy. He was free! It was just as well, as the family business of covering up indiscretions and great lie campaigns didn't quite suit him. Going into the medical field would also bring more honor to his family and allow him to do something good with his life. It was a beneficial plan for everyone it seems.
What Damis didn't realize is that once out of school, the place Kua needed doctors most are the places that would least care about his patients. Children turned away due to their parents' debt. Farmhands scheduled for amputation because proper treatment is more than the life is worth. The combination of low value of life and heavy equipment also... well it eats at a person. A stint at a clinic in a transport hub town also didn't improve things much. It isn't a surprise one would take to drinking the most available decontaminate around.
It was by chance Damis heard of the chance to go off-world, and his connections afforded him a foot in the door for the opportunity. Anything to get off the rotting rock.

Looking good! I am fine with any patron. Should we also do relationships with Tabitha? She does sound the perfect amount of teenager drama.
Also Dhar took tech to be our battle engineer, I thought - even if he's not super great at the rolls needed. Should our AI really take up that position, considering you've changed it to an engineer, Hemnon?

I've opened a new re-recruitment for an additional player. feel free to go say hi in it (it's hard to miss).
Also, question: should I remove the chapel and add an extra Crew Quarters? Any preferences there? it's you lot's ship after all.Last edited by Hemnon; 2019-05-03 at 05:45 AM.

Howdy folks, Davy Jones here. I'm the new recruit, and I'm working on putting my engineer together...basics will be Zenithian (Zalos), Stationary, Ship Worker.

Hey there! Guess we'll be getting that dedicated engineer, eh? Do get involved with us weirdos if you have questions and want to build relationships and all. We posted bigger blurbs in the recruitment thread about how our characters tend to present themselves, so I can dig those up for you if you haven't seen them yet.

Re: Coriolis - The Third Horizon OOC
Wits 4, Tech 3; should do for engineer stuff. ;)
So, I had a few ideas for relationships.
Fahim Alsyf has borderline OCD. He maintains a fairly-rigid routine and requires a feeling of "structure" around himself. He's religious (follower of the Judge/Martyr), and is probably most rigid about his morning and evening prayers (and self-flagellation). He doesn't get violent when his structure/routine is disrupted, but it does upset him (and he may end up expressing disdain for the situation under his breath). For instance, he has his "spot" at the dinner table; if someone is sitting in it when he comes in, he'll simply leave and not participate in the meal with the others, only coming back once his place is open.
That said, despite his quirks, he's kind and helpful (he follows the sacrificial aspect of the Martyr) and generally friendly and empathic.
Now, with that backdrop, I have a few ideas for his relationships with the others:
Ramad - Every time Fahim notices Ramad, he's initially startled by the latter's appearance. He'll briefly recoil or do a double-take and stare for a moment, but then recognition sets back in and Fahim treats Ramad normally. He really has no problems with the humanite; Ramad just looks...weird...
Akila - Fahim doesn't know what to make of Akila. She's from Zalos, but she's not religious? That fact pokes at his structure, which can disturb him when discussed. It also serves to make his interactions with her somewhat awkward. (Think along the lines of him just abruptly moving on to his next task/leaving the room after he feels the conversation is over.) He holds no animosity toward her; it's just that something is wrong in her life (from his perspective), and he doesn't know how to respond properly to it.
Damis - Fahim connects with Damis for the latter's compassion and desire to help others. He's genuinely concerned about Damis' use of Kohol, and seeks to prevent him from overindulging.

Re: Coriolis - The Third Horizon OOC
Ramad probably has gotten used to Fahim freaking out by now. He doesn't really like it, but it could be much worse. Being treated properly otherwise does wonders - even if Fahim is a really weird person in his eyes. Then again, Ramad is probably also really weird in the eyes of others. At the very least, Ramad's keen enough to notice patterns and leave Fahim's seat alone...
Ramad is at least the normal amount of religious in this world (just no flagellation please) and they both probably enjoy fiddling with technology and repairing stuff, so they do have that in common with the two of them. Even better if Ramad doesn't really have to engage in small talk, because he's not really good at that. More used to doing the talking with his fists. Or guns.
With a dedicated engineer, we should change our ship system into something else. A dedicated gunner? 4 cabin spots is enough for our player character team, but the kid would be left without a room so either she sleeps elsewhere or is bunking with someone else.

Re: Coriolis - The Third Horizon OOC
Just quietly collaborating on some tech thing would appeal to Fahim. In a strange way, that would make him closer to Ramad than any other member of the crew. Ramad is Fahim's "PC Buddy." Because he doesn't like to talk. ;)

Spoiler: Fahim
Spoiler: Base Info
Name: Fahim Alsyf
Face: Longish, unkempt, curly dark hair, meticulously-kept handlebar mustache & mid-length beard; both hair and beard have streaks of gray. Expressive light brown eyes with noticeable crows feet.
Clothing: Matching kameez & dhoti or a matching caftan and dhoti. His tunic and pants are always the same fabric, texture, and color (see Personal Problem, below).
Background: Stationary / Zalos / Zenithian
Icon: The Judge
Concept: Ship Worker (Engineer)
Group Concept: Explorers (Salvaging Crew)
Personal Problem: Borderline OCD.

Akila: Fahim doesn't know what to make of Akila.
Her niece, on the other hand, is a complete joy to know. When they talk or pray together, he lights up and almost becomes a different man. His interactions with her are downright fatherly, as if he is well-practiced in the art.
Damis: Fahim connects with Damis for the latter's compassion and desire to help others. He's genuinely concerned about Damis' use of Kohol, and seeks to prevent him from overindulging.
Ramad (Buddy): Every time Fahim notices Ramad, he's initially startled by the latter's appearance. He'll briefly recoil or do a double-take and stare for a moment, but then recognition sets back in and Fahim treats Ramad normally; in fact, they frequently spend time together, quietly maintaining equipment or tinkering with technology. This quality time seems to work wonders for the engineer.

Spoiler: Background
Little is known about Fahim Alsyf before he departed one of the many space stations in the Zalos A-B system for Coriolis and joined on with his current crew. He's clearly a religious follower of the Martyr, and says he's been that way for as long as he can remember. He'll admit to being 46 cycles old, but doesn't talk about his life before departing for the stars.
Spoiler: SecretsFahim was born Fahim Yusuf under the Judge's segment, 46 cycles ago, on Zalos. He was a well-respected technician on a station within the system, and had a wife, Ashraqat, with whom he fathered five children. Seven years ago, on the Cyclade, he was called to perform an emergency repair in the middle of the night; while he was working, a fire swept through his family's apartments, with no survivors. Fahim went mad with grief and disappeared shortly thereafter.
He spent a number of years in contemplation at a temple of the Martyr, and unwittingly developing a structure and routine that allowed him to function. He took the name of the sword as his own and ventured out.
Fahim, as a widower, considers himself in mourning for the remainder of his life.

Re: Coriolis - The Third Horizon OOC
I mean, feel free to have one you feel more 'best friend' towards, but you can easily change that later. None of you are simplistic robots after all. Things change, feelings change, etc.
Nope it does not. It's about: who do you feel that your character buddies up with best. It's purely one-sided in focus, but each character can easily be buddy with the person that is buddy with them.
Oh and it's nice to see things are going onward, great you see you here as well Davyjones. Or should I say: Refugee-Adeptus Mechanicus guy? Cuz religion and tech... wooo. We are gonna have lullaby's song for the system AIs.

Re: Coriolis - The Third Horizon OOC
No no, was referencing 40k cuz Religious Techlover.
I can imagine the two AIs on the ship arguing now, with the Gunnery AI informing peak firing solution when suddenly the Ship-wide AI goes all McCoy (star trek) on it And the rest of the crew: Damn it man, I'm a ship AI, not an autotracker Intelligence! I'll go play chess with myself for a while!
Shall we play a game?
That'd be rather hillarious.Awesome avatars:

Re: Coriolis - The Third Horizon OOC
The choice of a best buddy is difficult because the choices are so different and I can see both Damis and Fahim having parts that could lead to potential buddy times, hah. Gotta see how they'll be in action to get a feel for it.
Can't believe we're finally ready to get started, should probably iron out any kinks while GM's recovering from the injury! We should change the ship system from engineer to something else, I assume a dedicated gunbot based on what Hemnon said just now? Though I thought they're mostly just brainless bots, not personality AIs...

Patron: I agree with Wana as our choice of Patron. (Which, by my count, meas we have 2.75 votes for Wana. ;) )
Now, should we pick our Nemesis? Personally, I prefer Amadi, especially if he has an agenda against the FAI.

Re: Coriolis - The Third Horizon OOC
I think I built relationships when we had a different group composition.
Akila probably has little interest in Fahim, as long as he's doing his duties and getting along with the rest of the crew. She'll likely be at least a little cautious around him as she'll have picked up that he's not comfortable with her.
Tabitha on the other hand probably quite likes his religious devotion, she was raised and lived as a true Zalos, before her eccentric aunt uprooted he, so he will remind her of home.

I can see Fahim becoming a different person around Tabitha; his countenance brightens, and he takes on a fatherly role with her that seems rather well-practiced. (He's given no other indication that he was ever a parent.)

Spinningdice, should we have a dedicated cabin spot for Tabitha? We gotta make sacrifices if we want her to have her own room and you're kinda our captain and all, so I think the ball's in your court.

Easiest way to fix livingspace problem for you all is to swap one module with an additional living quarters module. or make it poor quality micro-cabins and have 8 (I think) shoeboxes for living quarters.

Or she gets to bunk with someone else! Or someone gives her their room and sleeps in the lounge area.
