The Dragon Cohort.

So I've been playing an epic campaign in Behold the Void's Disgaea setting. We just hit level 26, and I took my first level in Maou. This means I get a second cohort.

I want a dragon. Preferably, a red one.

So... are there rules for this? Dragon cohorts? Monster cohorts? Do we have to make up our own rules for it?

Also check out defender´s of the faith (3.0), it had rules for dragon cohorts.

As I recall, the general cohort rule is something like add 5 to the monster´s CR to get its value as a cohort, 3 if its non-flying.

Look at the examples in the DMG, I´m pretty sure there´s a mean you can draw from them.
