"Alright, sneaky it is." Red tries to move quietly, hoping to get the surprise on whatever is up there.

The two find the stairs up and they ascend to the next floor. There is a long hallway with the two ponies on one end. At the other, there is a griffon at a window with three ghouls trying to attack him. He has a rifle, but he is bleeding from several bites, making it hard to defend himself. Before Red could act, she suddenly sneezes. This gets the ghouls attention.

"Sorry," Red whispers.

Red shoots to cover Prosperity. Her bullet miss the ghouls and hits the window next to the griffon. The griffon shouts "Hey!" and shoots back, missing the ghouls and Red and takes out the glass door that holds a fire extinguisher. The ghouls, confident that no one can hit them, completely fail their checks against Prosperity's spell. All three hit the floor and take (1d6)[1] damage.

The ghouls are not happy and take their turn to get up and surround Prosperity.

'Griffon! We are on your side!' Prosperity yell, while trying to disengage and, gallop to the fire extinguisher, levitating it, hoping to create a cover if she has the time.

Prosperity only has enough time to grab the fire extinguisher since Disengaging takes a bit to get away from the ghouls.


The griffon growls. "Well tell your friend to aim and not shoot like a greenhorn!"
He shoots at a ghoul. (1d20+6)[25] He hits and badly wounds it.

Red snorts. "Yeah, yeah. Keep your feathers on." She tries to shoot the ghouls so they go after her and not Prosperity.

The ghouls seem confused, so they split up, two after red, one after the griffon, and one after Prosperity.

Prosperity levitated the fire extuigsher , activating it, to confuse the ghoul, while trying to back away.

The contents of fire extinguisher are old and what sprays out is pretty nasty and watery. However, it is effective in blinding three of the ghouls for a moment, making it easier to get away or fight back. The griffon takes notice of this. "Oi, good thinking there, lass! hit 'em while they're distracted."

Red and the griffon take advantage of this, shooting into the ghouls!

THe damage is enough to take two of the ghouls out. The last two attack Red and the Griffon, but they cannot fight effectively, and thus miss their attacks.

"Aye, that'll do lass. Get the last two and we can get out of here."

Prosperity has tossed the extuingsher away, pulling her pistol, hoping she has counted the bullets right, and that it will shoot.

(Doc had similar bad luck with attack rolls, but your extinguisher trick was brilliant!)


Prosperity's bullet misses the ghoul by just inches. The ghoul attacking Red missed too, but Red did not. She hoots it in the chest and does (1d6+3)[8] damage to it. The other ghoul dies bite the griffon, damaging him for (1d4)[1] points. The griffon misses his shot however.

"Oww! A little help here, ladies!" the griffon called out.

It mattered very much, as Prosperity's shot blew a tiny hole in the ghoul's head. The creature dropped dead, leaving the griffon relieved that he won't become a ghoul snack today. "Thanks, lass. Much appreciated!"


With all the ghouls dead, the griffon sits up. "Well, I never see ponies coming to the aid of a griffon... but I won't complain this time. So what are a pair of pretty lasses like you two doing here?"

"My name is Prosperity, and the better soldier is Red Shield." She present herself, trying not to think of the ghouls as an actual ponies themselves.

The griffon held out his hand. "Well lass, my name's Derringer. Member o' the local chapter of Talon Company. I was hired to hunt down a wee bug, and I got as far as chasing the blighter here, but well... the ghouls ate 'em first and then tried to have me for dessert."

Derringer pulls out some bandages to wrap his wounds. "So... I can't help but notice you two lasses don't look like local pony folk. You're both prettier than a daisy in spring and a heck of a lot nicer. Usually ponies shoot griffons for fun. I suppose you won't tell me why you are here, but would it be alright if I follows you around? At least until we get outside? I don't think I can run with me legs all bitten by those ghouls just now."

The Garden of Eden Creation Kit, or GECK for short, is a powerful magic device that can clean the water and make plants grow over a large area. How large? By our estimates about the size of a small town; enough for the entire population of a Stable to farm food and live on. The magic matrix in this device is similar to what was used in the bombs that destroyed the world. It is funny that the very same technology and magic can rebuild what it broke. My comrade Dr. Nikobray and I have taken this device out of Stable 45 because we believe the Overmare would destroy our project and keep us locked inside forever. Selecting the last option, Prosperity can hear the safe under the desk unlock (Did Doc have a safe like this back home? What would he have kept in it?)

Inside the safe was a small box containing a strange and complicated device. It looked incomplete, which makes sense; there are two more pieces to find. But Prosperity held in her hooves the future of Equestria. The future she wanted. She just has to find what happened to the two scientists when they left so many years ago, and where those other two parts are. Did either of them ever find Prospi's home stable? This is a mystery to solve.

She play the guitar using ponykensis, and tap the floor as replacment for drum, to give herself rhyme.

She hope moss or anything will grow over the corpses of the ghouls, let them at least in death to unite the natural cycle.
