The remaining dozens of insect pony things fall, fried.

Doc shakes his head at Lorra. He looks tired. "Don't pay. I'm just glad you will be ok--"

He hears Greeda and holds up his burning club. "I'll bandage you in a moment, Lor. Sounds like Greeda is stuck."

"Greeda! Keep talking, I'm trying to find you!" Doc shouts. He walks carefully, using the light of his club to try and find where the goat is.

Again the fire get back to normal. Doc gallop after Greeda's voice, but he himself falling into a pit!

Doc sees the pit one step too late and flails to not hurt himself in the fall. He tries to hold onto the torch. "Eep!"

Anyway, Doc keep the torch.
Good thing.
Or bad- the pit is about 2 meters in depth-not deep enough to hurt him too much, but tall enough to be a struggle to get out.
And what he see is like a city?
He actually destroyed few.. sand strucres, tower like filled with holes.
There even a central building wide and flat, with hole shaped like six pointed star.
And hundreds of the swarm-pony insects are here. They screech angerly, prepared to devour the invader.

"Gah ow ow ow" Doc whimpers at their painful stings. "Okay, it's on like Donkey Kong!"

Doc gallops through the swarm, brushing the painful stings and praying to get out of this alive. His wounds start to feel better and he makes it to the big building with the strangely familiar star pattern. "This looks important. Kinda resembles one of those Harmony Elements?"

He lifts his club into the air over the building, ready to crush it, but he doesn't yet.

"Alright! I demand parley or your pretty Twilight building gets wrecked!!" he threatens.

(OOC. Doc uses 4 points of Lay-on-Hooves to heal himself. Then... um... tries some intimidation?)

The insect-pony things stop, they buzz and screech angerly but seemed to be geniunly worried for this building more for their own lives.
Another shed of hope: Greeda yell.

"Greeda! I fell into a ditch looking for you, and I ain't alone. Come pull me out; these insects are mightily angry I broke some of their homes!"

Doc holds his position. As long as the insects don't attack, neither will he.

"Ah, ponyfeathers... that's a good point," Doc says. He's trying to think of a way out of this. "Well, they seem to find this... structure important. My threat to break it is why they stopped attacking, but... you can hear how angry they are right now. I don't think they're smart enough to make a deal with..."

"What if I try to fix some of the... um, 'homes' I fell on? Maybe they'll understand that gesture?"

"Then, wait. Somegoat got to keep the threat." Greeda jumped in, with a surprising grace, on the buildings which doc already destroyed, but the swarm started to swarm over her.

"Greeda, no! We both need to be out of this pit! You ain't sacrificing yourself!" Doc shouted.

What to do? Doc is going to try and get out of the pit first and then help Greeda get out. He tries to climb out: Athletics (1d20-1)[17]

Doc know hear Lorra's voice close. "Ouch." She herself holding a torch, and stumbled on something.

Doc will decorate a couple more for the insects around their town and then quietly leave with Lorra and Greeda (he hopes).

Doc feels I'll accidentally smashing that skull. Eww. He is glad Prospi isn't here to see this. She wouldn't be happy at all.

"It was more than art," Doc explains. "The star was a cutie mark from a famous unicorn a long time ago. During the last war. ... Starlight, or Twilight? I think her name was Twilight. I don't know why those bugs like it."

He checks Lorra's injuries and tries to help her wounds, wrapping them with a little bit of bandages he has (Lay on Hooves to heal 5 points to Lorra).

"Okay, I guess... We should move camp farther away from the insect city?"

Lorra groan. "Thank you. But we can't see a beak... how can we move the camp?'

Greeda chuckle. "All unicorn names are the same. Twilight, Sunlight Propspilight..." she also isn't in great shape... but she is holding*

Also, congrats! The enemies were worth 300 xp, and Doc's creativity worth another 100 xp!

Doc unfortunately has no more power in him to heal her further. She's a goat tho, she should be fine, right? But then why does Doc feel worried about her still? He doesn't even know her that well. Only for about two days.

Lorra write something in a notebook.

Doc makes torches for everyone and puts out the main campfire after packing up everything. "What are you writing?" he asks Lorra.

"Oh. It's just hobby of mine. I write and research things that hint to the Pre War. It.. always wierded me out, what made the pony hurt the griffons who were stupid enough to befriend them. All other birdies just accept that you ponies see us as lesser beings. But... It's still wierd me out."

"Lesser brings?" Doc repeats as a question. "Well I dunno about ponies from the war, but I don't think you are any less. Just like I don't see Greeda any less."

He gives Greeda a friendship pat on the back, but suddenly stops. Was that too weird to do? Maybe he should keep his hooves to himself. "Sorry," he apologizes.

Doc raises his torch. "Uh, anyway... we're packed up so let's get moving." He leafs the way away from the bugs, moving careful to not fall down any more pits.
